The price was $19.99 without price matching. Unfortunately I didn't get the adventure book. I believe that is a DVD exclusive.

The UP $10 off allows you to print 2 on each computer. It's in the fine print. The MI one on Disney rewards could be the same, I didn't notice, because its the same method of printing. The Target one should be fine. If need be go to a different computer! There was literally no hassle I walked in, grabbed the movies, went to the customer service desk, and they did the transaction. It took no more than 5 minutes. If printing the coupons again is the most trouble you come across the deal is well worth it.

I just skimmed thru some of these posts and noticed some of the bonuses. Who's got the adventure book? Walmart? It take it Future Shop has a Steel Book? Any store include an official Balloon Boy survival pack signed and endorsed by Falcon Heene?

Wow nice deal. Sure wish CA had 5.5% sales tax instead of 9.75%.

I don't know about the United States, but here in Canada, when I went to Best Buy today, they didn't accept the Up $10 coupon and Monsters, Inc. $8 coupon, because they were "manufacturer's coupons." So, I went to Toys 'R' Us instead and they accepted the Up coupon (they didn't have the Monsters Inc Blu-Ray for some reason).

Did anybody else in Canada experience this issue at Best Buy?

Oh and I don't know about anybody else, but I had a good laugh at the insert inside the Blu-Ray that said I can get a FREE Baby Kevin Plush...for $6.

circusbass wrote:So armed with the Best Buy weekly ad, the Target $10.00 coupon for buying both (Up and MI), the $10.00 off manufactures coupon for Up, and the $8.00 manufactures coupon for MI I went to Target. Price matching was no problem.

Monsters price matched to $18.99 no problem. But Up was $19.99 at Target and $23.99 at Best Buy so there was no need to price match that one. I made sure to have the movies rung up first with all discounts applied. I ended up paying $13.81 for both!!!

Here is how it broke down:

UP
$19.99- $10 (man coupon)=$9.99
$9.99- $5 (target $10 off coupon for buying both)= $4.99

MONSTERS INC
$26.99 price matched down to $18.99 from Best Buy Ad
$18.99- $8 (man coupon)=$10.99
$10.99- $5 (target $10 off coupon for buying both)= $5.99

Tax is the tricky part. I had to pay tax on Up at $9.99 and Monsters Inc at $18.99.

CA Tax on $28.98 is $2.83. So......

$4.99+ $5.99+ $2.83= $13.81!!!

Amazing deal for 2 new release blu-rays!!!! Thank you to everyone here who helped me get this deal.
Okay, I have all the coupons and the Best Buy ad, so I may try this tonight. I hope it works, I don't have a Bluray player yet but this is a great deal. My biggest concern is the price match thing, sometimes they try to give you a hard time on that sort of thing especially with a handful of coupons to go with it. They are manufacturer coupons tho, so they really won't be losing any money on the deal. I'll post back here to let everyone know how it works for me.

ahhhh lol. :P

Ok, did my transaction at Target and my deal was $13.01!
Mine was 49 cents more lol
I can deal with that! I also got the Adventure book.

The girl at customer service did give me a hard time and was trying to say that I cannot price match Monsters Inc. for $18.99. She said I had to buy Up with it. I was like, can you look down... it's right under you. She was saying that it was $23.99 at best buy, and I was like, yeah, it's $19.99 here at Target, your point? lol
The manager came over and took care of it though. Then she was nice after that. The best part is, she was training someone else while she was ringing me up. I think she needs to be retrained herself lol. ;)

Thank GOD for Target! :pink:
My purchase from best buy is going RIGHT BACK TOMORROW MORNING before work! I am also going to submit a complant as well online! They are so stupid! An operational manager and store manager couldn't figure this out?!?! Why advertise the Dog for $4.99 with the purchase of UP, and not give it to me?

ANYWAY, I am very grateful my day worked out in the end. Thank you, Jesus! :float: :D
