Anyway, I like to play the Christmas oratoria from J.S. Bach round christmas-time.
Interesting. Here some people wait for the feast of the Immaculate Conception until putting up their Christmas stuff.

I don't think Baby Jesus was struck by an asteroid and killed in his own manger a day after he was born ... was he?
In other words, hold your horses! December 25th is only the first day of the Christmas season!
I don't listen to Christmas Music until the day after Thanksgiving. I try to avoid listening to any before because I want to celebrate the holiday with some spirit.
I think it's a little unfortunate that Thanksgiving is always toned down because everyone is already giddy for Christmas. It's a family get-together for a huge, delicious feast! What's so forgetful about that?

"Reports today have confirmed that the astrological phenomenon above Bethlehem last week, was, in fact, an asteroid. It was not a star. If you were following it, you weren't very "wise" at all."
Poor baby Jesus. Still, not a bad way to go. It was good enough for the dinosaurs!
I'm so glad Thanksgiving is in October in the country I live. That way it's not overshadowed by any other holiday (except perhaps Halloween, but that's not as heavily marketed) and the weather isn't as bad.
So bring on the X-Mas music as there isn't really anything else to celebrate this month besides Remembrance Day.
There is no shame to be felt, what did you start with?
I'm just listening to a short-ish mix for the start of November, and it consists of:
Kristin Chenoweth's "A Lovely Way to Spend Christmas",
Amy Grant's "The Christmas Collection",
Jessica Simpson's "Rejoyce: The Christmas Album",
and Aly and AJ's "Acoustic Hearts of Winter"
I've got everyone here beat; I've been listening to Christmas music since the beginning of October. So if PeterPanFan needs to pray for her soul, there must be a special spot in hell already reserved for me.
What can I say? I love Christmas music too much to wait.
Anwyay, sorry, PeterPanFan. I actually did second guess myself and wondered if you were a guy, but Jack calling you a woman (in caps lock, no less) threw me off. That trickster. I guess that special spot in hell will now come with its own jacuzzi after today...

It's no problem! It's very easy to misinterpret* over the internet.
