Just started reading Kathy Griffin's <i>Official Book Club Selection</i>. Loving it!

I just finished reading "The Time Traveler's Wife" by Audrey Niffenegger. I absolutely LOVED it! I finished it in two days I loved it so much. It's definitely in my favorite genre of book, the romantic type story, so that helped, but it was very interesting.

I've been doing a lot of reading! Yesterday I finished "Bluebonnet Belle" by Lori Copeland and today I finished reading "Think Of Me" by Jane McBride Choate. I've just been browsing the library aisles! I LOVED both books...I really did. Both were very much in the genre I like; I'm glad that I've been having good luck with blind picks!

I borrowed and read The Lost Symbol, which held my attention but featured jarringly shoddy writing for a writer who's a megaseller. The biggest reveal of the book is how low the stakes are.

I am currently reading Batman: The Dark Knight Returns by Frank Miller. I think it is pretty good, but it is a bit talky at times.

After "A Step From Heaven," I read "Persepolis". Currently, I'm reading "The Absolutely True Story of a Part-Time Indian".

I read the whole Shopaholic Series while I was on vacation (yes, guilty pleasure), then I read the Julia Child memoir "My life in France" and now I am almost through Melissa Gilbert's autobiography "Prairie Tale" (which is really good btw)

I'm reading A Midsummer Night's Dream in AP English; who knew that Shakespeare could actually be funny? I am actually enjoying it and I can't wait for Pyramus and Thisbe, it's going to be hilarious. I can already see the great mishaps caused by the love juice.

Shakespeare is hilarious, awesome wordplays and I actually like all his comedy stuff a lot better than the tragedies.
Try Titus Andronicus, it's very gory and yes, even funny at times because there are some really twisted puns in it.

It's a really good book! Funny, sad, very informative, hopeful, etc!

Starting Parrot in the Oven tomorrow morning once I wake up. Hopefully, it will be good!

A week or so ago, I finished reading "Blue Italian" by Rita Ciresi- it was such a great book that I would look forward to "hanging out" with Rosa & Gary (the 2 main characters) before opening it up to read each time. I highly recommend it!

Last night I finished "Heartbreak Hotel" by Anne Rivers Siddons- I didn't like it as much as the other books I've been reading lately. It took a while to pick up the story. I was very enthralled once it did pick up, although the very end confused me. If you like historical fiction, though, then I'd still recommend it.

I have since finished Jane Eyre, and just a few minutes ago I finished The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan.

I wasn't expecting much, and I have to say it was a mixed bag. It was nothing brilliant, but it was fun to read an adventure novel after so long. I might check out the rest of the series in my library.
