now thats what I call cross country shopping (having lived in Sydney until recently)

You sound like me when I'm trying to find a difficult release. ;)

They obviously haven't seen the piles and piles of Aladdin DVDs that seem to be sitting on the shelves. I'm glad I have the 2 Disc sets for these because these Musical Masterpiece editions are just the Walt Disney Collection (which got killed off in the switch to American Style cover art. I really, really liked having that bloody Gold and Magenta strip and the 2005+ Classification Logos overpowering the art!) in new packaging - and a great way of getting the uniformed to double dip while avoiding reissuing the 2 Disc sets, especially Pocahontas which has all the excellent Laserdisc features.

(P.S. They can't draw John Smith or Mulan...)

I've always struggled with that myself.

Looks like it will be another cheap month for me, at least Disney wise. Catching up from all the dosh I'll be forking out in October for Snow White; and my trip to Japan in December...

That's too bad, yuki. I debated whether I should get the apple cover version from Target but the sweet price from Big W was what swayed me in the other direction. :)

Hmmmm... I'm wondering if we'll get the revised editions of "Bedknobs & Broomsticks" and "Pete's Dragon", seeing as they were recently released in the UK... :?

Monster's Inc BluRay 13th of Jan 2010?

I got mine from the UK back in July.
And since they'll change nothing on there, except take off the trailers maybe, why does it take 7 months to come out here?

It's Region B from the UK so it works,
plus it was 19 pound when I got it which made it around $35AUD plus
$8AUD for shipping.

So its around the same price, except I had it half a year earlier.

Why wait people? Really.

And as for Bedknobs / Pete's Dragon,
August and September from the US.

It confuses me greatly that anyone would wait, but ah well, each to their own I guess. I might go watch Monster's Inc on lovely crisp BluRay right now.

I thought I was going insane when I saw that cover on the shelf! When I paid for it I asked if it was exclusive and they didn't know. I honestly thought they had wised up and changed it at the last minute :p

God, this is embarrassing :p
