Have a film you think should get the popular HD remastering (and no, it doesn't only have to be animation or Disney)? Post your list of films that deserve the Blu-ray High-Def treatment that have yet to get one.
For me, it's these films:
The Iron Giant (1999)
The Secret of NIMH (1982)
JAWS (1975)
The Taking of Pelham One Two Three (1974)
West Side Story (1961)
The Prince of Egypt (1998)
Psycho (1960)
Vertigo (1958)
The Birds (1963)
Mary Poppins (1964). Come on, Disney, this is a Blu-Ray essential!
The Producers (1967 & 2005)
The Emperor's New Groove (2000). It's just too fun. If Monsters, Inc. can get it, so can TENG..
The Rescuers Down Under (1990)
Pee Wee's Big Adventure (1985). No, I'm not kidding. Have you SEEN this film? Drop-dead funny. Rotten Tomatoes even gave it a 100% score.
Well, what do YOU think should get the HD makeover?
AND PLEASE; I'M BEGGING YOU ALL. Don't turn this into one of those "Screw Blu-ray, DVD's are fine for me" topics. I chose Blu-ray simply because of the true Cinematic experience you get out of the darn disc. Yes, DVD's can do the same... but Blu-ray does it better.
