The Proposal 1-Disc. I didn't feel the bonus features were worth the 2-Disc.

A local closeout store, 'The Bargain Shop!', just got a shipment of Christmas DVDs and was surprised to find a bunch of copies of this... A Muppet Family Christmas. Yes, it's edited, and Yes, Disney will re-release it at SOME point (hopefully for the better) but for now it's nice to have on DVD and better than the way I watched it last year (I could not find my tape so I watched on YouTube).

I hope they do rerelease it for the better, but I wouldn't put my money on it since it includes the Fraggles and Sesame Street gang. The version you have might be the best official release that will ever come out. I need to upgrade mine from VHS (LOVE this special), though I may instead seek out a homemade, uncut disc I think...
If I knew how to make copies, I would- a year or two ago, my mom transfered the taped-of-TV VHS onto a DVD, so I can watch it in all its uncut glory. If I could trust people to send my original back to me, I might be willing to ship the DVD to people to make copies...
