Platinum Edition Disney DVD's Poll
I definetly will, i have liong king and beauty and snow white is on order..should be here in a few days

Definitely. Though some of the extras may be pretty floofy for such a "definitive" edition (especially after the extremely meaty features in Snow White), several are the only DVD edition available. Plus, I'm a sucker for extras - I've eschewed getting the barebones releases of Lady and the Tramp, The Little Mermaid, 101 Dalmatians, and The Jungle Book, and instead I'll wait for the PEs.

Life often leaves us standing bare, naked and dejected with a lost opportunity. Over the bleached bones and jumbled residues of numerous civilizations are written the pathetic words: "Too late."

Without a doubt. I'm not surprised at all that it is unanimous thus far... if you were only going to buy 10 Disney DVDs over 8 years, I would think that these would be the ones (for a lot of people, anyways).

Oh yes... I will have them all. In fact, I will have all of the animated releases someday. I have about 90% of the animated dvds released to date and whenever I get extra money I will purchase Black Cauldron, Fantasia Anthology and Adventures of Ichabod Mr. toad.

As long as Disney keeps churning out DVDs, I will keep buying them.
The Platinums I MUST own. Aside from being the most wanted movies, they look really groovy on my shelves
I don't have the "Platinum" Snow White, but I do have the local copy which has all the same features, but it just isn't called Platinum.
