They've all hinted at it, and they're usually pretty reliable.
Well, Jim Hill
refuted it himself today, and before that, the animators at Animation Nation confirmed that it's
still in production. So there ya go.

I agree with goofystitch for the most part - why can't we all just like animation because Disney is putting it out, regardless of whether it is 2D, 3D or 6D (that is where the fart jokes that pervade most modern animation come to life!).
I for one am willing to wait and actually see the film before I condemn it or praise it.
Uh - "because Disney is putting it out"? That's just as prejudiced as liking HD over CG, Loomis. I mean, I
know this is a Disney forum, but just because any ol' film's got the Disney name slapped on it doesn't mean it's automatically going to be
good, either. And given the overwhelming amount of shoddy films (sorry -
product) they've been putting out in recent years, I'd say Disney is
certainly capable of making piss-poor entertainment.
But hey, lookit me - arguing with a guy who buys any dvd with a Disney label on it. Part of the Disney Loyalist League, I guess.
As for
Chicken Little, sure - I'll see it. And I agree that one can't judge until they see the film themselves. But that teaser sure didn't do anything for me. It looked like they were trying too hard to ape the Pixar style; both humor- and design-wise. I'm skeptical about this one - if their only gimmick is to strain mimicry of Pixar, then it'll be one very off-putting film. However, I loved the type of humor in
The Emperor's New Groove, so we shall see how this pans out.
