Why wouldn't you just get the DVD + BD Pack for 10$?CampbellzSoup wrote:Put the violin away and wait a monthDARTH KNITE wrote:This sucks. I won't support blu-ray by any means. Why isn't there a DVD option? I'm only buying that version of the release anyway.
I bet the DVD option alone will cost more.

Because if he wants to watch the bonus features and has no Blu-ray player, he'll need the bonus features on DVD...hence waiting until next month for the 2-DVD set.Tyler2834 wrote:Why wouldn't you just get the DVD + BD Pack for 10$?CampbellzSoup wrote: Put the violin away and wait a month

Yea, but I assume most people here will upgrade to Blu-Ray sooner or later.blackcauldron85 wrote:Because if he wants to watch the bonus features and has no Blu-ray player, he'll need the bonus features on DVD...hence waiting until next month for the 2-DVD set.Tyler2834 wrote: Why wouldn't you just get the DVD + BD Pack for 10$?

Yeah but the film is only 10 dollars if I didn't have a Blu Ray player I would still get the DVD at that price. I even have a Blu Ray player and don't care about Bonus features *shrugblackcauldron85 wrote:Because if he wants to watch the bonus features and has no Blu-ray player, he'll need the bonus features on DVD...hence waiting until next month for the 2-DVD set.Tyler2834 wrote: Why wouldn't you just get the DVD + BD Pack for 10$?

You can't assume that.Tyler2834 wrote:Yea, but I assume most people here will upgrade to Blu-Ray sooner or later.blackcauldron85 wrote: Because if he wants to watch the bonus features and has no Blu-ray player, he'll need the bonus features on DVD...hence waiting until next month for the 2-DVD set.

Soupy, you don't count, you never like bonus features. Yes, if you want to watch the bonus features and lack a Blu-ray player, please do buy the DVD, I will encourage you to do so. Yes, at some point in the future, we will all probably have Blu-ray players, it's gotten too much of a studio push to fail at this point, and they will not allow it to do so. Iceflash, you can't be a silent majority if you keep saying it anytime someone says the word "Blu-ray". Also, no side is silent. I hate you all. You all sicken me more than a pie made of sewage and rat droppings with a side of arsenic whipped topping.

I love this. It's very blunt and quite true. Especially the part about the arsenic whipped topping....SpringHeelJack wrote:Soupy, you don't count, you never like bonus features. Well yeah, it's annoying when one format is given more of a discount than another, but nobody *owes* you that discount. It's not as if they're marking DVD's up higher than MSRP in order to punish those that aren't upgrading.DARTH KNITE wrote:I'm well aware that the DVD only version is coming out, I'm saying it's not right to only offer the discount on blu-ray. I absolutely refuse to upgrade again.

I'm the same way. I rarely, if ever, watch bonus features on DVD or Blu-ray. The movie all I care about and for $10 the combo back is very hard to pass up, even if I didn't have a Blu-ray player.CampbellzSoup wrote:Yeah but the film is only 10 dollars if I didn't have a Blu Ray player I would still get the DVD at that price. Except for Albert. He can come over for brunch, where there will be cookies a-plenty.
AND YOU LOST TO AMY, HOW?
(I still wub you Amy, it's just that was really funny!)
BTW am I allowed to have cookies and brunch at your house Brenders or must I do with your Ms. Lovett inspired "Worst Pies in Boston"?

...just kidding, Amy, I love you too. And I am certainly not prepping a smear campaign to help me win next year.
Though on an unrelated note, I have here information that says Amy is pro-VHS and anti-disc media. In fact, I have it on good word that were Amy running this site, it's alternate name would be www.VHSizzy.com. Which like isn't even a word.
Additionally, I have here a graph labeled "Amy" on the top and shows a line moving downwards across the graph. The line represents downness. Just so you all know.
Well... they're the worst pies in Long Island now, but rest assured, they are still terrible. You may eat one cookie, then it's pies, pies, pies.Flanger-Hanger wrote:BTW am I allowed to have cookies and brunch at your house Brenders or must I do with your Ms. Lovett inspired "Worst Pies in Boston"?
...well of course. Can't very well have brunch sans cantaloupe.CampbellzSoup wrote:Will there be cantalope?
