I remember all the shows mentioned plus they used to show old reruns of Ozzie & Harriet at night. Also the Prairie Home Companion with Garrison Keilor. When I first started watching Disney Channel it wasn't even a 24 hour network. It went off air around midnight & started back on around 6 am. Everything commercial free. In my vhs days I was able to get copies of all my favorite movies animated & not. Wish I still had the monthly Disney Channel Magazines that you got with program schedule & photos & stories of all the Disney stars (Hayley, Annette etc...). Those really were the days.

Here's what I remember from the Disney Channel as a kid. I'm sure this is mostly mid-late 80's, but may include some early 90's material.
Mousterpiece Theater
Baby and Me- I think its what it was called, all I know is that when this show came on, I switched to Nickelodeon.
Lunchbox- (was this nickelodeion or disney?)
DTV
Those commercials/promos that ran before a show started that just showed Mickey's arms. I definitely remember one where he's in a grocery store and trying to get out fast, and a lady pulls in front of him at the register and says she has a coupon for everything.
Dumbo's Circus- I loved this show as a kid.
New Mickey Mouse Club
Disney Halloween
Kids Incorporated
I'm sure theres other stuff I could remember if I think long enough

Re: The Disney Channel in the 1980s
I was born right smack in the middle of the 80s, so of course I was watching.
I remember watching Welcome To Pooh Corner, Dumbo's Circus, Mousercise, Mousterpiece Theatre, Under the Umbrella Tree, Kids Incorporated, The Boogedy Movies, Lunchbox, Disney Halloween, Road to Avonlea, the MMC- all religiously.
