If Disney Movie Characters Had Music Careers

Post by ajmrowland »

Sebastian seems to be trying some variety of music styles, starting with his new album, "C.R.A.B.B.Y.", which also includes his new single, "It's Hard Out Here For a Shrimp". This is clearly a desperate attempt at appealing to today's generation of young listeners. :P

The rules of the game are that you come up with either an original title, or parody of a song/album that you think befits a certain Disney character if they had a career in the music industry. Sebastian of course doesn't do hip-hop, but I acknowledged that in my first post.

Princess Snow White has recently put out a new easy-listening album entitled "Higher and Higher". She has also denied reports that she's recorded high-pitched frequencies used in security systems. In addition, she has *not* taken up smoking to deepen her voice.

Pinocchio was spotted in the recording booths of Red Door Records, reportedly with Jamie Scott, Andre Fields, Nathan Scott, and Chase Adams. The song is rumoured to be a Tree Hill cover of "No Strings Attached".

Cinderella Tremaine is set to go on an international tour, this year's theme is "Songbird Season" as every song will have birds in it and she'll close with the traditional "Sing, Sweet Nightingale". Her opening act is Big Mama, with back-up vocals provided by Lady Cluck, Clara Cluck, and the Song of the South hummingbirds.

Peter Pan is very successful in novelty rap, thanks in part to "Hooky Got Back", a rewritten version of "Baby Got Back".

Princess Aurora will debut at the Royal Opera House in Puccini's Gianni Schicchi, in which she plays Lauretta.

King Arthur has had to postpone his upcoming charity concert, Young Squirrels in Love, which would have benefited lovestruck squirrels who lost their mates to the road, to magic turning them human, or to other squirrels with sexier and bushier tails. A rep stated that they have to wait for his voice to finish changing.

Taran & Eilonwy continue to headline their famous Vegas show, "Songs Without Words" as they perform interpretive dance to various instrumental medleys.

Scuttle was not invited to join Cinderella's "Songbird Season" tour and instead will produce an all-animal all-singing all-dancing stage version of Godspell.

Aladdin and Company were originally scheduled to take their successful stage musical from Disney's California Adventure to Broadway, but because their 2004 DVD didn't sell as well as Disney wanted, the slot was taken over by a new musical version of The Great Mouse Detective.

Fa Mulan will star in the Hollywood remake of Victor/Victoria.

Stitch turned down an offer to produce StitchMania, in which various Disney Channel teenyboppers cover original songs from his album "Stitch: The Album!", but in a watered-down and translated-to-Kiddie-English way (thus, "Meega Nala Krista" would become "Me Like Happy Songs, Yay!"). He reportedly stated off the record, "Even I have standards."

Chicken Little tried to join a Queen cover group, but was kicked out after they heard him sing "We Are The Champions".

Princess Tiana was in talks to join Corbin Bleu in a stage revival of "Porgy & Bess", but there was too much controversy by ignorant groups who never heard of the opera, but only heard it was controversial, so they decided to protest against it and start a controversy.

Scaps gets a dancin' pink elephant to go support Eilonwy and Taran's new gig because his list of ideas was so fabulously funny.

The Three Caballeros are currently on a World Tour singing their many hit singles. There's been some talk of a breakup after Donald seen quaking wildly on José and Panchito. The group's representatives have not released a statement.

The Notre Dame Gargoyles recently won a Grammy for their recent single, "Stone Cold". The song had previously sparked a controversy when the Ice Cream company, "Cold Stone" sued them over copyrights. THey won anyway, because "Cold Stone" misread the title and got their own name backwards.

A recent band has also begun to surface; a group that goes by the name Kuzco, after the band's lead singer.

Aladdin and Jasmine are a successful singing duo called "Endless Diamond Sky". Their vocals are able to win over even the most cynical heart thanks to the love and the sincerity they evoke in every performance.

Belle and Beast also formed a duo, but unlike Al and Jas their focus lies more on a house/hip hop focused style, with songs about liberating yourself from the pressures of society and being who you truly are.

Bolt released his first album "Doggy Style". His tracks are all the rage in the hottest tracks thanks to his ability of expressing a dog's life through killer beats.

Charlotte La Beouf wins her first VMA for her video remake of Madonna's "Material Girl", but just as she was giving her speech Naveen jumped on stage, grabbed the mic and said "Yo Charlotte, I am happy for you, and I'll let you finished BUT TIANA HAD ONE OF THE BEST VIDEOS OF ALL TIME!", embarrassing Tiana in front of millions.

(What If)

Snow White's been in the music business thirty years today. She's Middle-aged, and she's still singing "Someday, My Prince Will Come".

Prudence Van Rooten née Taliferro began her career as an opening act for Cinderella Tremaine, but objected to opening for those of lower class than herself. Her musical career would have come to an end, but she was invited to sing her country's national anthem for various foreign affairs, where she caught the attention of musical artists from the United States. At first, she declined their requests and offers, but was persuaded by Cinderella to give something new a chance. Prudence began writing her own original lyrics, though her entertainment career would have stopped where it was had her background band not gone on strike. In Prudence's later years, she premiered her half-hour television sitcom entitled "Prudence". The show was based around the life of a common single working woman, Prudence Trah. The show would run for six seasons and nominate Prudence for a Golden Globe award. As of this autumn, the now seventy year old lady of nobility has confirmed that she is developing a new sitcom. However, it is in the "very rough stages" at this point.
