I viewed some of the movie on blu-ray last night and I think that for the most part, the picture looks really good for an old movie.

I don't get it either. Basically, I think it's there for people who aren't used to seeing the black bars.

I ended up paying $6.49 which included tax. Pretty good deal!

BTW, the blu-ray case u see is the steelbook not the one that came with it i replaced it, the book came with the dvd case, which is a nice trick, it actually looks like a dvd, anyway to not get into that here are the pics; the book is 160 pages just like in the collector's set, this scale on this one i think is smaller... still not sure what are the big differences besides the cover, and size.
Thanks for sharing the pics! I have the Limited Edition Diamond Collector Set and it appears that both the page count and text are the same. Like you said, the main difference is the cover and the size, but looking at the pages you took pictures of, it looks like somebody had to rearrange the layout as well. The title page in my book is not the old movie poster like yours is. So while there are some differences, there are more similarities. If anybody was thinking about getting the big box set just for the book, you might as well just get the smaller one.

My brother did it and got Belle. She hoped she wasn't keeping him from his favorite book.

I am a 32 year old man who is a little child :)

Now this will be kinda hard to explain but I will try. Well there is one Snow White and at the same time there are many "close friends" of Snow White. Snow White actually called me and talked to me. The "close friend" of Snow White who was with Snow White this time would be what they call a recording. If you are confused by what I am saying you can pm me.

To me, it's not just the disc art that's blurry. The movie itself looks blurry at points. I'm assuming that's the price you have to pay if you buy older movies on Blu-ray.
As I understand it, the blur is some scenes is due to the cells not being completely flat when transferred to film. It's something that shouldn't be there, but was due to human error, and Disney (rightfully IMO) decided not to alter it.

Considering that BD-Live is now global, I'm sure you could get these calls about anywhere. They happen once you complete the "Mirror Mirror On The Wall" game on the Blu-ray Disc. You get one from the Princess you're most like.

Ah sound cool, hmm I heard BD-Live wasn't going to be on the Region 2 version is this true? I hope it will be though, it sounds like a nice idea? How does it work? Does it use your Wi-Fi connection? What other stuff can you do on BD-Live, sorry I'm just VERY new to Blu-Ray heck I don't even OWN a player yet, though I purchased Sleeping Beauty (my first and only film on BD) on BD last year and plan on doing the same with Snow White so I have them for when I do get a player :D

BDLive on Disney titles isn't yet global unfortunately.
Therefore SW won't carry BDLive in Europe as previously announced
