Lots of Pooh! (UK only)

Post by 2099net »

Disney UK seem to have gone Pooh mad according to this:

Some of the other titles are a bit pooh as well :)
Most of my Blu-ray collection some of my UK discs aren't on their database

You guys are getting all the Pooh DVDs. Not fair!

Seasons of Giving is something that I wanted to see. It was supposed to be DVD & VHS when it was first released in - I think - Christmas '99. But it was only VHS. Hopefully, we'll be getting that on DVD, and then the episodes DVDs like you guys.

By the way, has anyone gotten any of those "Magical World of Pooh" Volumes? I'm wondering if they come complete with opening credits and stuff or if it's re-edited in some way.

I now get Disney Channel, but unfortunately they're only run at like 5:30 in the AM.

I recently picked ut Magical World Of Winne The Pooh Vol. 1 on DVD, and I liked it very much (Can remember I saw some of the episodes on Norwegian TV in the late 80's). Can't wait for the next volumes. :)

One of my favorite lines to my daughter when she wears her Winnie shirt:

"Hailey, you have Pooh all over your shirt!"

Well...it's funny sometimes :D

Ooh! Very excited! :pink:
Still not sure what has happened to Magical World Vol 2 :P
They are all on my list !
Spookable Pooh! Love it already! (Was this released in another region already though? Title is familiar...).

One other point of interest from that list: "Everybody Loves...'Donald, Mickey, Goofy'" Release date: November 2003
Anybody know what this is?

Lots of ordering from the UK to do...unless they are released here (and if history is anything to go by, we will either get them at the same time, a few months after or 17 years from now. Give or take).

I think Vol 1 may have been the VHS vols 1 and 2 together. So perhaps Vols 3 and 4 listed on the site is really just the next DVD volume convering the next two VHS releases?

"Spookable Pooh" is out in R1 as a double feature with "Frankenpooh" (I ask you? ). "Spookable Fun" listed as a UK release may be the same content, or may be different.

At a guess, it will be some of the Mickey Mouse shorts featuring all three of Disney's main characters. Such as "Clock Cleaners" and "Lonesome Ghosts". However, I'm at a loss as to why Donald is getting top billing...

According to BlackStar, the Vol. 1 VHS is 56 min. Same running time as my DVD of vol. 1. Strange is hasn't been announced on DVD yet. :?

I may send an e-mail to the UK branch of Disney about this one.

I was having another look at the bvhe.com.au/news site, and the titles of the Pooh releases.

We have:
Magical World of WTP - Great Day Of Discovery
Magical World of WTP - It's Playtime With Pooh
It's Your Birthday Party with Winnie the Pooh
These are all being released on DVD and VHS and are different to the UK titles.

However, a fourth title:
Magical World of WTP - Little Things Mean A lot , is only being released on VHS here. It is available on VHS in the UK, under the banner of 'volume 2' with the following episodes (according to the BBFC):
THE WISHING BEAR
HONEY FOR A BUNNY
EEYI EEYI EEYORE
MONKEY SEE MONKEY DO BETTER

All very strange. Both the UK and Australia have Volume 1 on DVD, Volume 2 on VHS, and then different titles after that.

Somebody (and I include myself in this) is very confused....
