Jules, honestly, I don't care who you dream about.

What I find creepy is that not only did you apparently dream about me "many times", but you stated it on the forum, making me feel very uncomfortable. I don't know what happened in these dreams and frankly, I don't ever want to. If I had any control over it (like Alex and the Dream Helmet on "Wizards of Waverly Place"), I'd make sure my subconscious self doesn't enter your dreams.

The things you say are just... really creepy. I'm sure you don't do it on purpose, but that's what it is. And it just makes us all uncomfortable. We don't wanna know your dreams about us, we don't want you cropping pictures of us together, and we don't want you making awkward remarks about our pictures.

While I believe Carter is just being playful I agree with Scaps and plink. It just makes you look like you are OBSESSED with us, making us feel uncomfortable.

I understand that you want to be funny and friendly, but you have to be subtle about it. Otherwise, it might be misinterpreted.

People tell me, please tell me, what was so objectionable about the dream descriptions I posted on this thread over two years ago?

I think a lot of people just find it strange; phlix, papa64 and Escapay have kinda already let their opinions out. To be honest, I've had one or two dreams about going on UD and stuff like that, and I've had surreal dreams involving friends, family and foes from my real life (as most of us surely have). However, I think people could get a bit nervous having someone they've never properly met saying that they've had such vivid dreams in such detail about them and how good their photos look; it could seem very stalkerish. To be honest, I used to be really rather open on UD, as it is on the whole a very, very safe environment, but controversies like this do make me far more shyer (hence why my recent photos in the photo thread obscure my face somewhat). I have to admit that I was slightly unnerved about how you said you wish you'd met me in a thread recently and how you tried to make a picture of myself "sexier"; I never have met another UD person face-to-face, had a telephone conversation etc and probably wouldn't want to as of September 26th 2009, as I personally feel that one must keep one's private and online life at a certain distance (and everyone here, don't take that as offence. It doesn't mean that I hate anybody, I just feel that there's a great distance between real-life friends and online friends - a very vast difference at that). I understand that you're probably not trying to be sinister, but like others have said, going on about eccentric dreams and posting what you think of people's looks might make the targeted people feel a bit upset, and you might look a bit obsessive. Don't go away from the forum or anything, but just try if you can to be a bit more reserved in future, as being too forward could lead to even more trouble here or elsewhere online or in the real world.
