His Democratic opponent has already raised $ 100.000 since the shameful outburst.

I think what's more important than the fact that Wilson was rude, is that he was wrong --and proud of it:

And to answer Keith's question about when it became fashionable to not know anything: November 4th, 1980.

Every time I see this incident in print, I keep imagining Ahnold as Mr. Freeze in "Batman & Robin" shouting "YOU LIE!!!" to Poison Ivy after she tells him Batman and Robin killed his wifesicle. Must be a Republican thing.
"Ta ta ta taaaa! Look at me... I'm a snowman! I'm gonna go stand on someone's lawn if I don't get something to do around here pretty soon!"

Just as rude as the fucker that threw a shoe at George W. Bush. It's a matter of simple respect, whether or not you agree with or like the person speaking.

Except the fact that the one throwing the shoe wasn't a US Congressman; and the president was not adressing both houses of Congress when that happened. You can't compare the two. There's a fundamental difference.

And to be honest, I still regret the fact that the Iraqi journalist didn't hit him with the shoes. But regardless, it's a bit that I like to play back once in a while. I could watch it over and over. Because it's the closest that Bush will ever come to getting what he deserves. It's the closest to justice being done.

My thought when the bush shoe happened...is where is secret service....okay the first shoe went through but isn't secret serivce suppose to dodge a bullet let alone not let a second shoe to be thrown.....although the good thing about that result is that bush might have a future in professional dodgeball :P

But lately what we have been learning.....Cheyney was the vindictive controlling one.....besides....Bush was smart enough to go away after obama took over....I mean yeah George did speak out but Cheyney paid him to do that or donate money for one of his charities....who have we seen more of crabbing since Obama took office....cheyney or bush? Bush did not pardon scooter libby like some predicted.....and Cheyney still is upset about that one.....
