- American Psycho II: All American Girl - nowhere near the original one, but it's still kind of fun in its own right.

- To Be Fat Like Me - a TV movie about an athlete who puts on a fatsuit in order to film a documentary about how society treats overweight people. Along the way, she fights her own prejudices and mends ways with her (overweight) mother. Really good.

Vanessa Minnillo once did this for an episode of ET...except the mother reconciliation part... :)

All About Steve - What the freaking eff? This movie had no plot, nor was any of it funny. DO NOT recommend. Sandra Bullock's downfall.

I thought Sandra Bullock's downfall came in "Speed 2", "The Lake House" and "Miss Congeniality 2: Armed and Fabulous" :D

I watched Return to Oz last night. Bobby watched with me- I had been telling him that he needs to watch it, and he did. He thought that it is very weird, and I don't think he liked it too much. I don't know how that's possible- I'll give him that it's weird, but it has such awesome characters in it!!!

Haha, I thought "The Lake House" was way better than this. It MAY have been better than Speed 2, however.

Ugh, and now I'm being forced to watch it in about an hour. That's what I get for coming home for the weekend. :P

I wanted to see The Time Traveler's Wife!

Watched Porco Rosso Thursday night. Not Miyazaki's best work, but still entertaining.

I might watch The Cat Returns tonight.

I just watched Click. It was really good. I wasn't expecting much- while I enjoy Adam Sandler films, they're not necessarily my favorite films, but it was really quite good.

Give him time; it's one of those movies which requires patience and understanding. If you come to RETURN TO OZ with an obsessive attitude towards MGM's "The Wizard of Oz" you'll completely hate it. Just tell him to unlock his mind and he'll enjoy the film so much more the second time around... :)

I just asked him again, and he's "undecided". I asked if he'd like to watch it again, and he said "I don't know". Thanks for the advice, though! :)

Yes, but it's been years. I mainly want to see it because I love love love Rachel McAdams!

Oh, and it turns out that I quite liked All About Steve. I thought Sandra Bullock was adorable! Sorry, Panfan! :P

I caught the last hour of Frailty, last night on USA. I never saw the first part, but the movie was extremely emotionally disturbing enough to catch on. If you can stomach some of the actions done by certain characters in this dark, dark film, and have no problem with a movie that seems strictly anti-religion than goes and contradicts itself, be my guest. Otherwise, stay away. period.

As a film, The Time Traveler's Wife really quite good as there are solid performances from the cast, a story that (if you never read the book) is compelling and dramatic, and some pretty interesting visual effects for the time-travel.

As an adaptation of the novel, it was too short and there were things I wish they didn't change.

But still, it's a good film to see, and you really must see it!

I loved her in Red Eye, which was surprising and good.

Anyway, earlier tonight I watched Ryan's Daughter (all 3 hours and 26 minutes) followed by the special features.

I have! I thought the film as a whole was a tad bit cheesy, but that's to be expected from Wes Craven. Either way, it's a great popcorn flick and Rachel McAdams delivered once again.
