IWMMB – I want my money back
Hmmm... Not bad. But I'm more of an impulse-buy guy. I certainly didn't really need/want half of these movies, but they were calling out to my OCD-persona, so I had to buy them.
You like crap like Basic Instinct 2 and Catwoman, but want your money back for Sex and the City??
Ugh.

The ones that have been *'d are the ones I haven't watched yet. The only movie out of all these that I really did not like at all and regret buying was Step Brothers. That movie was just plain awful. Hated every minute of it and I got bored. Walk Hard is a close second, but I liked it much better than Step Brothers.
I'd say that at least half of my Blu-ray collection (70 discs and counting) were blind buys. Some were good, some bad, others..... truly awful (I'm looking at you, Burn After Reading). My favorite blind buy would probably have to be Pineapple Expess. I got that one after hearing terrible things about it, but Judd Apatow's and Seth Rogen's names eventually led me to buy this one and it is now one of my favorite comedies in the last five years. Dopey fun.
On a seperate note, I've realized that while I enjoy some of the blind buys I've made, I don't love many of them, and am thinking of selling some on eBay in bulk. Is there any smart way of going about this? i.e., Knowing what movies to pair with on a sale? Pricing? etc....
