See, I hate this. It's not difficult to mention these things, but they are vitally important to a lot of people. I don't buy into the idea that Joe Bloggs doesn't care about aspect ratios - I think this is a myth that is being perpetuated, though I'm not sure why. Is it cheaper?

And whilst the language and subtitle options don't matter much to me, they can make or break the sale of a title for someone who has difficulty with English, or a hearing impaired customer. Sorry, they just really make me mad. :x They're losing out earning money that can line their pretty little pockets, so you'd think they'd be very careful with their press releases merely from a capitalistic viewpoint.

A lot of UK Disney discs have an audio descriptive soundtrack for the visually impaired (such as the 2 disc Sleeping Beauty, Santa Clause 2 and it looks like Brother Bear will have too, based on the review. Treasure Planet lists an audio descriptive track on the box, but it doesn't actually exist).

I don't need this audio descriptive tracks, but I'm glad Disney UK does them, and I'm sure that they are appreciated by a lot of people.

But none of the press releases mention them. They should be a selling point, but are ignored. Disney UK are doing something commendable and actually using the DVD format to enhance people's pleasure and they don't let anybody know. More bad PR. I don't know what Disney is paying their PR film, but it's too much. Way too much for the shoddy job they do.
Most of my Blu-ray collection some of my UK discs aren't on their database

Well I can only hope that we have a better release... Lately BVHE Belgium has released some great dvds here. Almost all the same as in the US and some with cardboard around them, hope this will be the case for Brother Bear too IF we will get a different release.
