What does that have anything to do with it? Ray and Tiana's father are two different characters.ajmrowland wrote:Considering he's the same voice as Tiana's Dad, Yes.pap64 wrote:This is the first time I see Ray with a larva. Could he be a father in the movie?
From what I've heard about some plot points that I wont exactly spoil, that bug Ray is holding wouldn't be his child. I don't know what it is exactly though. Maybe it's his pet/friend?
Maybe. It must be important to his character, otherwise it would be weird to have him holding something that is trivial.singerguy04 wrote:What does that have anything to do with it? I'm having a flashback to the "too similar to Wizard of Oz" discussion that occurred on the 1st topic, where we were speculating similarities between Human and Animal characters.singerguy04 wrote:What does that have anything to do with it? If you loved those pictures, you will love this! Look at this new feature they updated on the official website! It is called "Wish On A Star" where you can go in and read other people's wishes or just make your own. I sat and read about 20 of them, too too cute! I love how Disney is bringing back the "magical" feel of the animated movies!singerguy04 wrote:Awesome! Thank you Amy!!!
I'm so excited for this film! I saw the set of Disney Princess Dolls at target the other day that features Tiana mixed in with the others. I kinda freaked out a bit and looked at it for a while. I can't wait till more publicity gets out there!

Yeah, I thought that feature was really awesome. It also paid tribute to the company's "Wish upon a star", something that hasn't been used to promote a Disney movie in YEARS.katemonster wrote:If you loved those pictures, you will love this! From an article about the Ponyo panel at Comic-Con:
(MINOR SPOILER ALERT) I highlighted potential spoilers, but the second spoiler really isn't a spoiler if you've seen the trailer.
http://www.laughingplace.com/News-PID512840-512841.asp
To the delight of the crowd, two sequences from The Princess and the Frog were screened. First was a musical number featuring the nefarious Dr. Facilier and Prince Naveen, newly arrived in New Orleans, accompanied by his stuffy valet Lawrence. It was followed by a second clip that emphasized comedy. As Clements explained, Naveen, now a frog, spies Tiana at a fancy dress costume ball and assumes she is a real princess. Summoning up all his charm, Naveen persuades her to kiss him, but as she is not a real princess, she is also transformed into a frog. The clip that followed depicted part of their misadventure in the bayou, as a clumsy Louis attempts to help them untangle their unfamiliar frog tongues and seek out Mama Odie.

They threw the line around quite a few times when Pinocchio's PE was releasedpap64 wrote:Yeah, I thought that feature was really awesome. It also paid tribute to the company's "Wish upon a star", something that hasn't been used to promote a Disney movie in YEARS.
It's just that lately they haven't released any movies where that line if fitting. imo, i personally don't even like it being used (it's very childish afterall). Rather I wished they made 'to home from work we go!' or something they 'moto'.
