I'm still counting the votes. It's taking a long time, due both to there being a lot of them and to my being really busy lately. Hopefully the awards can commence soon!

Hiya guys! This is not the actual UD Forum Awards, it's just me having a bit of fun until the real awards start! This award is for Towel of the Year. Towels are very important in our lives, though few of us realize this or appreciate them. Towels are necessities when one hitchhikes. They dry us off if we are wet, but not if they are wet, we just get more wet. They can be tied around your neck like a cape. You use them to dry dishes or cars or wipe mud off your face (or car). They act as a barrier between rolling hot flesh and the cold wet sand. They can wrap up a baby to be taken home from the hospital. Yes, towels are very important.

But as great as towels are, we can only have one Towel of the Year. So here are the nominees...
