"My Little Margie" star passes away.........

Post by dvdjunkie »

Inside a week's time, and usual "Circle of Three" has been expanded this time around to five.

Gale Storm, star of the television shows "My Little Margie" and "The Gale Storm Show", both big sit-coms in the 50's died at her home in Danville, California.

Storm was also recording artist receiving a Gold Record for her song "Dark Moon" back in the 50's.

She also starred in a lot of movies, both dramatic and musical and will be missed terribly.

R.I.P.: Gale Storm

The streak of deaths gets even more disturbing. Puerto Rico just lost one of its most popular and respect television producers this morning.

How old was Gale Storm when she died?

Is it a celebrity trend this week to go around dropping down dead? Anyone remotely famous in some place or another for some reason or another seems to be popping off. Curiouser and curiouser...

Rest in peace to Gale Storm all the same, and may her family and friends be strong in this sad time. :(

This is very sad to hear. :(

Gale was quite a good comdienne, and the few episodes I've caught of My Little Margie in syndication I thought were rather funny and like a forerunner to I Love Lucy.

Incidentally, random bit of trivia, you can see her on the Disneyland USA Treasures. At the opening day ceremonies, she stops by in an Autopia car to talk with Art Linkletter for a minute or so in Tomorrowland.

May she rest in peace.

Odd, I've actually been looking to pick up the My Little Margie DVDs recently. In fact, I've got a VHS 4-tape set with her picture on it staring at me right now on my computer desk! :o

The show is great fun, unfortunately the DVDs are just "best of" sets..
