So I finally just watched last week's episode (#4) and I'm enjoyed it. It was cool to spend more time with Echo.

Fox has opted out on airing the final episode of Dollhouse Season One ( ) in hopes of making it DVD - exclusive to help get more money ( .) Don't fret, Dollhouse is 99.9 % likely to get a second season. Fox is just being their usual, greedy selves again.

The DVD will be out on July 26th, and is now available for pre-order on Amazon.

No, it's because Fox paid for 13 episodes, which included the unaired pilot, "Echo", reducing the number of episodes they could air to 12 since they never used the original Pilot.

This "13th episode season finale" would actually be considered the 14th episode, according to the original deal Fox made with Whedon and crew.

After holding my breath since the season finale, I can finally let out a sigh of relief... Dollhouse was confirmed by Fox for a 13-episode 2nd season! :D

While I am ECSTATIC for this, I was really hoping it would be a full 22-24 episode season. :(

Yeah, but hopefully it does well and Fox will order a longer season.

I WISH I could go. But I live in the tri-state area, and it would be so expensive to go to California. But my parents are taking me to the New York one next year. :D

One of my good friends went to the New York one and met Joss Whedon there. Maybe you'll have the same luck!

So today I was in Malibu eating at a restaurant. I turn to my left and guess who I see? Miracle Laurie - who plays Mellie / November!! She was there with a large group of people. My friends and I didn't want to bother her while she was eating, so we "hung around" outside until she came out. When we saw her, I went up to her and said we were huge Dollhouse fans and would love a picture with her. She was soooo sweet and super nice, and told us to connect with her on facebook. She totally made my day!!

Dollhouse Season 2 premiered tonight!!! Did anyone watch it?? I thought it was great! Loved Echo kicking some ass at the end :D

And OMG @ Whiskey/Saunders! What's that crazy bitch gonna do?!

Btw, so happy to see Alexis Denisof on DH! Gotta love all the Buffy/Angel alumni! :D

Speaking of which, I'd totally LOVE to see Charisma Carpenter on this show!!!!

YES! And Alyson Hannigan, Sarah Michelle Gellar, James Marsters, Nicholas Brendon, Emma Caulfield, Mercedes McNab, Anthony Stewart Head, Tom Lenk, Amber Benson... you know, just a few castmembers here and there. :P

Errm. No. I honestly can't see any of these people in DH. Maybe as a one-time guest star, but not much beyond that.

Well, it was announced yesterday that Dollhouse has officially been cancelled. I'm very saddened by this news because I love Joss and I LOVE Eliza. This was such a good show and it kept getting better all the time. I'm really upset that I won't be able to see what happens with all these great characters. But knowing Joss' fans, we won't give up without a fight.

Honestly... it was lucky that it even got a second season, so part of me wants to tell the hardcore fans who keep shouting "FOX SUCKS! THEY DON'T LIKE ANYTHING BUT AMERICAN IDOL" to shut up and appreciate what it had. Most networks wouldn't have run it as long as it did with the ratings it got.

Most other networks would also have put it on a decent time-slot and promoted it a lot more. It's not the first time the FOX network has done this.

No, it's not. But the show has its problems, and it's going after a limited niche to begin with.
