Thanks, I hadn't about that!

Great cast, Jamie Lee Curtis, Kristin Chenoweth, Victor Garber, Betty White, and Sigourney Weaver... That's a lot. To be honest, I wasn't quite sure who Kristin Bell was, but reading her filmography on Wikipedia, I don't think I've seen any of her stuff.

It feels odd, to read a plot like that, and then associate it with "Disney", because that's such a Touchstone plot... It's like "Confessions of a Shopaholic" in that way.

Thanks for the info!

This movie sounds amazing!!! Kristin Chenoweth! Kristen Bell! Jamie Lee Curtis! Betty White! Victor Garber! Sigourney Weaver!

I usually don't like evey actor in a film, but I really like every one in this! I can't wait for it!

That sounds great!

It appears that starting with Old Dogs, Disney has a new trend of making live action family films that are more appealing to adults than kids, while still being family friendly. In the past, these types of films have been put under the Touchstone label simply because they were more appealing to adults (Sister Act, Father of the Bride, etc...). I think it will be refreshing to see them billed as a Disney film.

I forgot about this movie, but I know I'll have to see it! What exactly does Cheno do, though, I wonder?

I thought it was supposed to be billed as a Disney flick, though... The last credit says "Touchstone Presents"... Hmm..

EDIT: But I still have no idea who this Kristen Bell girl is...

Kristen Bell is probably best known for her role as Veroics Mars, and if you watch Gossip Girl she is the voice of GG. She has also be in quite a few movies, Couples Retreat I and When in Rome are her most recent.

Betty White, Jamie Lee Curtis, Sigourney Weaver, Kristen Bell, and Kristin Chenowith all in the same film? I'm so there.

:pink:

Also, is it just me or does Odette Yustman look like Christy Carlson Romano in this movie?

I'm sorry, but I am smelling a disaster. I've yet to see a very successful all star movie since all the time is spent on the stars.

I don't expect it to be any good, sometimes I enjoy watching movies simply for the actors in them. Why else would I watch a train-wreck like Supergirl (with such powerhouse names as Peter O'Toole, Faye Dunaway, Peter Cook, and one-scene-only Mia Farrow) at least once a month? :P

Plus, it's a scientific fact that if Sigourney Weaver is in a movie, 99% of the time that movie is worth watching even if everything else sucks balls.

I wouldn't call most of them stars, but merely good actors.

I'm really only gonna watch this for Kristin Chenoweth. But she's only shown for half a second in the trailer... yet they use her name in it as one of the "stars"...

Must've been seeing things, but I couldnt tell the difference between Bell and Chenoweth.

Anyway, this movie at least looks decent enough to maybe see on DVD.

It's A Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World. Perhaps I'm biased since I love classic comedy, but it has to be one of the most hilarious films I've seen, and featuring an all star cast of 1960s Hollywood funny people: Spencer Tracy, Milton Berle, Ethel Merman, Phil Silvers, Buddy Hackett, Mickey Rooney, Jonathan Winters, Sid Caesar, Edie Adams, Terry-Thomas, Dorothy Provine, Jimmy Durante, Peter Falk, Eddie Anderson, Andy Devine, Jim Backus, Dick Shawn, Buster Keaton, Don Knotts, William Demarest, Jack Benny, Stan Freberg. I could go on and on. :p

uhh...yeah that would be great....but...I didn't think the world was that Mad that now we can call Don Knotts and others from beyond the Grave :P

If we can communicate with Don Knotts beyond the Grave...lets talk to Walt Disney and Roy E and Roy O Disney and given them an update on things.... :P

Don Knotts is Dead.....or at least I thought he was....He can't do a future movie....and some of those 1960s actors and actresses are dead...so they really can't be ina future movie....the ones that are dead at least...so my joke was...let's call up Don Knotts in 1800 heavenly gates and see if Don Knotts can come talk to us to be in a movie...get a live for a day pass from the man upstairs and while were at it give one to The Disney Brothers and one Son namely Roy E Disney just to get their ideas on the state of things....so that way we can truly do What would walt think...? :P

or....maybe...me being in a relationship with my girlfriend has made my mind turn to goo :P idk if that's the case...becaues I love her so much...and right now I'd like to dedicate this song to Her...I'm a Believer since I found her and I love her so much

Continue with channeling Don Knotts...Good night and i'm in love :D

But those 1960s actors/actresses already did an all-star movie: It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World. 1963. Directed by Stanley Kramer. That's what Howard and I were talking about. I have no idea what you're talking about.

Checks back a few posts......oohhh...oops....well....apparently I just skimmed through and sas mad world and thought....idk what I thought....I guess I skimmed that part in the paragraph....Next time i'll read the whole thing before I post....and re-read it fully....sorry for the confusion folks........

I had thought you wanted to put together a dream team of 60s actors into a movie possibly to come out in the future....but that's what I get for skimming the article and posting without fully reading it
