Ironically, with so many options, all bundles+sets are/only come with the 2-Disc BD + DVD version.
Explain how that is Ironic?
Because they said the most versions released for an DAC with all the different sets but the sets aren't really as diverse/different as they seem as all the collector's sets have the same movie release (2-BD + DVD) and none have the 2-Disc DVD. It appears to be varied when it's really not. That's all.
Oh, what they really should have done instead of the DVD + BD in DVD packaging is a 2-Disc DVD + BD version of the movie in DVD packaging. I actually thought when I first heard of it in a DVD case is that scenario . It makes the most sense as having the same release one in a BD case and one in a DVD case is going to confuse some people since they are the exact same thing just in different packaging.

That's how they should be marketing blu-ray. Not just giving us a 2-Disc BD + DVD but also a 2-Disc DVD + Blu-ray. That's actually smarter as the Bonus features can be played on both and the feature can be played on both. That would be good option as most don't care about whether bonus features are High-Def. or not so both parties would be satisfied with that. Disney has it backwards. They don't understand that many would only want the feature film on BD and the bundle would actually be cheaper than the other bundle. There's no use for a person to buy a bundle in which one out of three would be used but if there's a bundle where at least 2 out of three would be used more people may consider. Remember DVD can play on a BD player so even the BD only person who doesn't care about the bonus features being in high-def might take the cheaper option knowing they still get the film in HD. Those on the edge about BD (or plans on getting a BD player eventually) could benefit by buying a bundle such as that where they enjoy both the feature and the bonus features before getting their BD player and once they do they can enjoy the film in HD. It would be really smart of Disney to release such a bundle. The DVD + BD in a DVD case was a perfect opportunity for them to do that.
Disney is pushing the new Blu Ray format HARD I'm not crying because I have no VCR release of these films and their bonuses.
wow rude?
Remember everyone has their right to their own opinion. Now that you have both stated yours we can move on. Lets not turn this into a DVD vs Blu thing.

Agreed. Very rude and uncalled for. I was merely talking about a way they could market it that would be better.

Since I'm glad that your probably a marketing major have a degree and run a billion dollar business.
That looks legitimate, but I wonder why the sparkly part at the top with "Diamond Edition" extends beyond the frame. It didn't do that on the previous mock-up.
Much better. Thanks for posting that, Zack. So, either Snow White will always be in the middle, or indeed the slipcover will be halographic (or whatever that fancy word you all use is).

My guess is that the Blu-ray case cover will be holographic and the DVD case cover will be unchanging (at least that's what I'm hoping, Haha).
something is weird with that. the snow white on the side of it is the old snow white image on the previous version. check out the hair and lips.
& on this version snow white looks better but her nose is hardly visible and her eyes still don't look right. is it that hard to draw her on model? they did it on the last dvd... and i hate how there is no texture to the mirror. the backgroud is textured.. shouldn't the mirror have some.. i mean it looks corny right now. they just need to scrap this design. it's horrible.

Using rational thought, I suspect that the DVD+BD is as above and the BD+DVD has the hag and SW flipped as a nice way of differentiating them from each other. There is no way in hell this release is going to be lenticular - Disney have never done it before for a PE style release, never done it for a BD, there has been no indication that it will be lenticular, it looks crap, and best of all, it has the exact opposite effect on the art than foil embossed slip covers (making it all murky)!
In summary - BD, hag. DVD-Combo, SW, DVD - SW + Apple. Shame the "cheapest" edition is getting the best art. Don't even get me started on the overdone frames they put around the art on the BDs - We never had this when DVD came out.

I completely agree with this. I've been meaning to make a similar post but I've been far too lazy (that will be the reason why I drop out of law school ._.)
You know, I wouldn't mind a cover that was completely black with only the hag with her apple, plus the diamond edition boarder.
looks great and i really hope they stick with it, the witch in the centre is more a joke to me and i never could believe they would actually keep it like that.

I feel the same way. I mean, if the rest of the cover would be changed, then I wouldn't be as upset (for lack of a better word) with the Queen as hag on the cover, but with Dopey and the Prince fawning over the Queen- it just doesn't make sense.
