Belated thanks, everyone!
It was a fairly tame but enjoyable birthday. Went to church at 11 am, then spent an hour or two doing some writing whilst listening to old records (Jefferson Airplane, Boston, INXS, and some Billy Joel. Well, just "Scenes from an Italian Restaurant," as I didn't want to listen to any other songs on the record.). I then took a nice 3 hour nap, woke up, roamed around the house for an hour trying to find something interesting to do, before all of us (parents, siblings, two aunts, and two cousins) went to Bertucci's for dinner. All of us returned home for the cake and dessert, and watched Home Movies: The Movie, a silly little videotape I made that was just various funny moments from our home movies (such as my little cousin accidentally getting kicked in the face, or 4-year-old Kram saying "Humpty Dumpty" was his favourite ride at Walt Disney World...even if there is no such ride). It covered 1988 to 1991, and one day we'll convert all our old 8mm tapes to DVD so that I can edit it faster on the computer. Got some money from the aunts and cousins, a new watch, sunglasses, and ballpoint pen from the parents, A Journal of Impossible Things and sonic screwdriver from Kram, and a hug from Jane (at least until the gift she ordered arrives). Needless to say, I was most excited for the sonic screwdriver.
