tmc2k1,

When you say toy box, do you mean the Toy Story 3-disc collector's set Ultimate Toy box, cause they don't seem to even have it in their search engine. Anyways, welcome to the forum! :D

Best Buy Brother Bear Deal

Post by honeybefly »

This week only, Brother Bear is $16.99 plus you save $5 on a second Disney DVD, so titles such as Bug's Life, Mouse Detective, Atlantis, Roger Rabbitt, Fox & Hound, Robin Hood, etc. are only $9.99.

Not sure if this will work but there is also a Disney coupon on back of the Disney giftcard for additional savings.

Sounds like a good buy. I might have to set aside the time to take the bus to the mall, so I can visit the Best Buy, then ... but we'll see. (As I can walk to and get BB at the Borders in 10 or 15 minutes, basically, but a Best Buy trip would probably last over an hour, getting there, browsing, getting back.)

$5 off you say? Hmmmmmmm, sounds like a good deal to me. I'd go right now if I didn't have a class at 9:30 this morning! I wouldn't be able to get back to school in time because I'd browse for like an hour. In my family my dad and I are the movie and techno geeks. Our relatives come to use when they want to see a movie or get the latest technology.

I just ended up buying it at Costco while i was there this morning. Only $1 more, and i was there. May regret it if you can use the $5 off for the treasures coming out soon though...That could come in handy.

I just got back from best Buy and got a great deal. I have most of the Disney DVD's I want, but was able to fills some holes. I got Brother Bear ($16.99) plus Roger Rabbit ($14.99) and Hocus Pocus ($11.99). The Brother Beal deal took $5 off Roger Rabbit and then I used a coupon found on the back of the Best Buy Disney giftcard that says "Buy 2, Save $5, Buy 3 Save $10, Buy 4 Save $15". I applied this coupon, and another $10 was taken off. So Brother Bear ended up being $11.99, Roger Rabbit $9.99, and Hocus Pocus was $6.99. I got all three for under $30.

Desperate for some old Disney Treasures?

Post by disney79 »

I've noticed that there's alot people here are asking where they can find the out of print Walt Disney Treasures.

I posted this a few months ago but I thought it's worth a repost (since Costco seems to be out of stock)

An online store called C&L Internet Club: https://www.thecnl.com/CanadianSmallInd ... 158053480B is where I bought SILLY SYMPHONIES a few months ago and searching the site you can still find a few of the other old Treasures still available. (Davy Crockett, Behind the Scenes, Disneyland, and Silly Symphonies are the ones I believe they still have)

It apears as though that some are available with the Tin, while some are sold without it.
(SYMPHONIES is without the Tin but it didn't matter to me)

The Treasures without the Tin are going at about $16.00 USD (without shipping).

Now this is a Canadian site but from what I read on their page I'm pretty sure they do deliver to the States.

Link to Silly Symphonies (Non-Tin Version) for $22.52 CAD dollars (roughly $16.00 USD): https://www.thecnl.com/describe.html?Hi ... item=33676

Just thought I let you guys know.

where to buy the Treasures

Post by deadstone »

Hi,

Your best bet for finding OOP Treasures with tins is to look on Ebay.

Many of these are selling, in mint condition, factory sealed WITH TINS, for around $25 - $35 plus shipping.

Plus many of the sellers have a 'Buy it Now' option so you can just pay maybe $30 odd and get itr without having to bid...

If a seller is based in the US, and has a 98% + rating, then usually it's safe to buy...

I would say tho, with all the excitement generated by Wave 3, I expect average prices to go up in the coming weeks... so if you're gonna buy, do it soon!

Happy Shopping
