:x :(

WTF???
WOW, that is, like, one of the worst titles I've ever heard!
It isn't even ''Tiana and the Frog'', but a toad!
I really hope they translate the title in dutch as ''De prinses en de kikker'' which literally means '''The princess and the frog''.

(I don't think they'll do that. ''Home on the Range'' was translated as ''Paniek op de Prairie'' (which means something like ''Panic on the Range '' or something like that).

So, did anyone else see the Princess and the Frog trailer yet in front of Up? I was excited at seeing it a few weeks ago, but seeing it on the big screen made me even giddier for it. :p

I agree- seeing it on YouTube is nothing compared to seeing it on a big movie theater screen!!! It was amazing!!! A kid in the audience sounded excited, so I hope that thousands (or millions!) of people are excited to see the movie!!!

If we want this movie to be a blockbuster (which we certainly do) it has to be millions!

Alas, I watched Up in "Real"D so there was no Princess and the Frog trailer before the movie sadly. I was quite disappointed because I was so looking forward to seeing it on the big screen. :(

So am I the only one really disappointed by the trailer??? I was expecting something much more epic after all these years. Like the trailer for The Lion King or Pocahontas, which were incredibly powerful. This just felt like some saturday morning kiddy cartoon to me. I felt the same way when Hercules was released after Hunchback. And I agree the lack of music, although I can't stand Randy Newman, is strange. Is it me???

why whatch it on youtube? HD versions are out. but obviously nothing compares to the theater.

anyway, I did not get to see it in front of up today, as they bumped that to replace it with the Toy Story 3 teaser. this goes for all 3d showings of the movie. the only way to see the princess and the frog trailer is to see Up in 2d.

Well, no matter where you watch it on the computer screen, it can't compare to the theater!

I'd def prefer Menken, but I thought it felt just like a classic Disney trailer *shrug

Hey guys they changed the official website for the movie. And on the site it said the movie will be out in limited release in L.A. and New York on November 25. So people living there get to see it early while I have to wait until December 11. Maybe I need to go on an early vacation. Oh and by the way LOVED the trailer. I'm so excited for this movie.

Nothing much, just the layout of the site got updated and they added a new game. The rest of the options are "Coming Soon"

Yeah, I meant the 11th, I was just still thinking about the limited release date. But thanks for correcting me anyway. And your welcome.

MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD!!!

Also, someone on IMDb posted spoilers to the ending of the movie:
I talked to someone who went to one of the advance screenings for TPATF, and they gave me the following information. I warn you, it reveals the climax of the movie in its ENTIRETY, so you could say it's the ultimate spoiler. Unless you're POSITIVE that you want to know this information, don't read what's below.

In the end, Mama Odie tells the two frogs that Naveen needs to be kissed by a true princess, and the only true princess is Charlotte who, due to her father becoming Mardi Gras king, is a princess by default. But since it's only for Mardi Gras, they only have until midnight to reach her.

By this time Naveen and Tiana have been falling in love and Naveen plans to propose to her. But when he tries, Tiana just talks about her restaurant and kind of ruins the moment. So he disappears and goes looking for Charlotte so he can turn human and buy Tiana her restaurant. Tiana thinks he left to fall in love with Charlotte. She finds out from Ray or Louis (he forgets who) that Naveen was going to propose to her... so she rushes off trying to find him.

He's pretty sure Naveen doesn't get kissed by Charlotte, or the kiss is too late (its been a few weeks since he's seen it so he doesn't quite remember). He chooses Tiana instead. They stay as frogs. While they were split up, Ray got stepped on by Facilier, Tiana wound up breaking the charm that held Naveen's blood (that kept the butler disguised as Naveen), and the Voo Doo gods attacked Facilier for failing them and presumably killed him. The lightening bug Ray (who's in love with a wishing star and thought it was the prettiest lightening bug in the world this whole time) dies.

There's a funeral held, and you see a beautiful shot of a new star "being born" next to the star he was in love with. According to the person who saw the screening, it was quite possibly the most touching moment in any Disney movie. People cheered.

The 2 frogs decide to get married in the swamp, and after they say their "I do's" they kiss and are turned human (now that Tiana has become a princess). Charlotte is happy for her friend, even though she had really wanted to become a princess. Tiana gets her restaurant, and Naveen is one of the band leaders which has the alligator in the band with them.
