Cheese Manakeesh http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manakish, they're the Lebanese Version of Pizza but it's a little different than pizza, one big difference is that it's almost always folded. Sometimes I have Thyme Manakeesh but I like Cheese better. It's a very common thing to eat in Dubai.

It's pretty much a caramel bar covered in peanuts. It's delicious!

I made a vegetable pot pie today, with a biscuit crust . O.M.G. It is so incredible. Anything with biscuits on top is bound to make me happy, though. Bobby said that it's just alright (the veggies are sweet potatoes & carrots, and he said as I was chopping the sweet potatoes that he's not really a fan of sweet potatoes, so maybe that's it). The recipe said to use a biscuit mix...I made my own, and they aren't fully cooked (but there are no eggs in it, so it's fine), but I think that might have to do with all the chicken broth in the pot pie? I'm not sure. I may or may not try making the recipe with buttermilk biscuits next time.
*edit* I think that the biscuit bottoms are getting a little firmer as it sits...
