I guess the press release is only mentioning features exclusive to Blu-ray...maybe we'll have to wait for the DVD press release for all the other bonus features?!?

The press release made me laugh. Out loud:
the funny press release wrote: About Toby Bluth – Disney artist Toby Bluth tells how the movie inspired him to create the superb DisneyView art.
This could be somewhat interesting, but I found it funny that there's a bonus feature about the DisneyView bonus feature that so many have complained about.
the funny press release wrote:Mirror, Mirror On The Wall – Through BD-Live, this mirror can find the secret princess inside each viewer with a series of questions, then create for them a personal message from their favorite princess who will call them on the telephone.
How many of you straight boys out there want to find the secret princess inside of yourselves?!? But, getting a phone call from your favorite Princess would be cool...I'd like Jasmine to call me. But I'm still not buying this release!
the funny press release wrote:Scene Stealer – Allows viewers to upload a personal photo and experience life as one of the Seven Dwarfs—on-screen in the actual film.
Seriously?!? That's very strange.

Amy the Disney Art option is fantastic, it really didn't make me notice at all...and the art work on the sides were very appropriate for what was on screen. It made the film have that "classic" feel too...since I would rather have that than the black bars that fill up the screen.

I’m pretty sure straight dudes don’t care about the princess thing, but I’m sure as a big Disney fan that I’ll at least check out all the features at least once…

The dwarf thing sounds like they will superimpose your face on one of them as the movie goes on, that would seem like a neat feature.

Anyway I’m satisfied, I always just want the film for well the film…the features are just nice little extras.

Although I possess both Sleeping Beauty and Pinocchio on Blu Ray I haven't checked out the Disney art bars at either side of the screen yet. I'll have to do so next time I watch Pinocchio.

Somewhat frustratingly although I possess a Sony bravia TV and Sony 350 Blu Ray player it doesn't seem to give me the option to make the Blu Ray image go to 4:3 just always shows a 16: 9 image!

The Dwarfs are great now , the Wicked Queen is much better but she shouldn't have a bluish green face ( Maleficent she ain't ! ) and I wish the artist would make use of the fabulous violet velvet dress and scarlet lined cape she wears!

The Witch/Peddler Woman is better but still not right.

Snow White is now the weak point of this version of the cover , and damnit she's the heroine!

Please , would someone please post a really large file of this latest piece of Blu Ray Cover Art??

Yikes, I don't know about that cover. I much prefer the older one where Snow White was centered.

I agree, I wish Snow was in the center, but maybe on the actual cover the actual composition won't be like that. They might have just placed her at the bottom to show it might be a lenticular and change between the two.

Also, I really like the lighting color on the Queen now. I think the reason is that it looks like a strange ethereal glow is shining up from underneath and reflecting onto her, like maybe the glow of the mirror beneath her, rather than it actually being the color of her skin.

Although I'm not sure why they changed Johann (my gf and I got tired of him just being referred to as Prince, so we named him Johann because we thought it was the most fun name and keeps in the German theme :p), since I think he actually looks more on model in the first cover as to how he looks in the film. :p

i really hope in the final version (or one of the editions) Snow White is in the center of the cover art. Also makes not much sense that the witch is in the mirror and all the dwarfs and prince look smiling and admiring at her. At least Grumpy gets it right.

I'm sure the straight boys would rather be inside the secret princess. 8)

Awesome. So it's like JibJab Starring You: Disney Style!

But I would rather watch a behind-the-scenes documentary rather than plant my face over Sneezy.

I call him Swip or Swippy.

Yeah, I never even upload photos for this thing on DVD-Rom.

I don't like the updated cover art with the witch taking the center attention. Actually it's her claw-like hand taking center stage. I know why they are doing that. It's to pull in more of the horror / dark element / "male" crowd instead of making it look like a girly princess movie. Darn it. This is a classic. Do they really have to do that? I think the cover is pretty bad now.

Silly disney, they made it worse

Some of it is better, but not all... which makes it look very awkward.

i say they just start over with the cover art. it's a mess and i don't see it ever looking good. the mirror looks really bad even so how can they expect it to look good when the piece the cover layout is based upon doesn't even look good.

What in the world? Not that cover art is all that important, but the Snow White cover gets worse everytime I come here. The peddler woman is HUGE, she looks like the star of the movie, by far. Why isn't Snow White in the middle? At least to make sense, put the Magic Mirror face in the mirror.

Sorry if this was already talked about, but I just read the Snow White press release. Does the Diamond Edition refer only to the Blu-ray?

"Taking home entertainment to fantastic new heights unlike anything before, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs: Diamond Edition marks the film's first-ever high-definition Blu-ray bow, on October 6, while the standard definition will be released seven weeks later, on November 24."

So is this Diamond Collection referring only to future Blu-ray releases?

Looks like Snow White is jumping in the front, seeking attention 'Hey, I'm in this picture too!'

Some people speculate the cover's lenticular. The Diamond Collection, we don't quite know yet.
