Why do the daytime parades keep stopping?

The Celebrate parade kept stopping several times were they having that many mechanical problems? I just wish they would keep moving.

Why did they have all those ladies in white top with different color skirts and guys walking and dancing in between the floats?
I also notice on some youtube videos the parade travels from Cinderella to the end of main street when we were there it traveled from main street towards the castle and then into fantasyland I think?
They left Aurora and Phillip out why?

The ladies (and gentlemen) in brightly colored costumes are the dancers. Every Disney parade has lots of dancers. The parade usually travels from Frontierland towards Main Street, however, the Liberty Square bridge was under construction for about a month, which is probably when you were there. Fantasyland is not capable of having a parade pass though it. What they did instead was have the parade line up in a circle at the castle and then come back down Main Street since they couldn't get to Frontierland.
Disney parades can't have all of the characters in it, so often times you will notice some important characters "left out." When polling Disney World guests about their favorite princesses, the top three usually come out to Cinderella, Belle, and Ariel. So when they built the princess float back in 2001, those were the three princesses they designed it after. While Aurora has increased in popularity recently due to the release of Sleeping Beauty on DVD, she is more popular in Disneyland. As a result, she is far more present there than she is at Disney World.

It should have been obvious to DARTH KNITE that there's no Cinderella's Castle in Disneyland as Cinderella's Castle is in WDW.pinkrenata wrote:They do at Disney World.DARTH KNITE wrote:Also, the parades have never gone through Frontierland.
