Upscaling? It's mastered in 1080i.

That's what he means. If it was remastered, I'm sure it would be progressive instead of interlaced.

Yeah, that's what I meant. The same process as was done with the old Disney show episode on the Sleeping Beauty Blu-ray.

Not if they're mastered properly. Check Pinocchio. Check those Disneyland segments on disc 2 of Sleeping Beauty. Even though older material does not always look as good as new material, does not mean that this won't look great. Plus, more detail in the backgrounds.

I dont know why people keep saying this. HD doesnt make anything look worse, it just reveals detail that was already there in the first place. if it looks worse it was ugly from the start. Assuming the master is done properly.
