I've been slowly uploading my CD library (it is quite massive) into iTunes. I have a TON of Disney CDs and such, some of which are NOT on iTunes. When I upload them and "search for album coverart", it comes up empty......
I have my track listings set up where the album coverart is shown, and I have the coverart to my CDs. I can san them and make them a jpg image or bmp or whatever is needed....my question is....how do I then tell iTunes to use this for the album coverart?
I've tried to go into format or edit to manually add coverart.....and I'm completely lost. I'm sure there is a way to do this, but can anyone help me? I'm starting to get upset because I have a LOT of titles that have a gray square for their coverart and their actual CD coverart is sooooo good.
iTunes question.....please help!!!!!

A different kind of iTunes question...
Last year, I downloaded some songs from iTunes for the first time. I don't have an iPod, but I wanted a few of the songs from Radio Disney Jams 9. I ended up downloading them, but then I ended up downloading them again from Amazon (for some reason, the songs weren't available on other download sites on the release day). I don't have an iPod, and I wanted to be able to burn them to CD, and put them on my mp3 player, etc.
I just found out that Jonas Brothers have a live EP that is exclusive to iTunes. If I asked a friend to download it for me, could they burn it to CD for me? Like, is it possible to burn iTunes-downloaded songs to CD?
If I downloaded the EP myself, what would I do? I don't have an iPod, so I'd want to a) put the songs on my (non-iPod) mp3 player, and b) maybe burn the songs to CD. If anyone could tell me if these would be possible and what steps to take, that'd be great!!!

Yes you can buy itunes songs to a CD. Just make a playlist of all the songs you want on the CD and their should be a button on the bottom right hand corner of the program that will say "Burn Disc". It will then check to see if all the songs will fit on the CD (up to 80 min worth) and then proceed to burn it (and of course it will tell you how long it will take and when it's done).
If you buy something off the store it will appear under "purchased" and then you can drag the song to another playlist for future use.

iTunes is now 100% DRM-free, meaning their files will work with non-iPods. (I hated iTunes with a passion before, but now it's halfway decent... all they need to do is make their VIDEOS DRM-free and it'll be in good standing)I just found out that Jonas Brothers have a live EP that is exclusive to iTunes. They are just m4a files... to not get too technical, it's a special audio format. Yes, you can burn them to a CD, but it loses quality that way... What kind of mp3 player do you have? Some of them do work with m4a files, so what I do is just download stuff on iTunes and use the file with my non-iPod. (There are also m4a to .mp3 converters that do what you want.)

I Googled that Switch program and it does indeed support m4a.
So just use that to convert to mp3 - trust me, it should sound better than burning to a CD and re-ripping. (And even if it doesn't sound better to you, it won't sound WORSE so it'll still be worthwhile and take less time)
And just a personal suggestion - try RockBox custom firmware - on my old Sandisk Sansa I switched to RockBox and never went back to the original firmware... it makes it work faster, gives you games, and video support
