What is this BAtamax you speak of? :P

I guess I can also ask for a Divx Disc while we're at it.

Well I'm sure Marky would be happy with that. There wouldn't be any of that meddling from the DVD people who use Microsoft Paint to recolour everything!

And grain! There will be grain! YAY!

I already have The Rescuers and Hunchback of Notre Dame, I don't think I will upgrade. I do want a 2 disc edition of Dumbo though.

Na na na na na na na na Batamax! Na na na na na na na na Batamax! Na na na na na na na na Batamax! Na na na na na na na na Batamax! Batamax! Batamax! Batamax!

I'll believe the re-release when I have the discs in my big, sexy, long-fingered hands, but I do hope there's a decent release for "Hunchback" and "The Rescuers" in this, not just a lame rehash. Granted, it's Disney, so my standards are so low I can walk on them, but I can dream. Maybe "Rescuers" will have an actual remastered print, without all of the scratches and crud present of the last DVD release. And if it's a really good transfer, it will give Marky something to whine about for months.

I bet Albert doesn't like DADs or Bla-rays either...

Maybe they should release versions completely done in MS Paint for those of us that don't feel satisfied with the restorations. Yay pixels!

We might get lucky though. They could release" Hunchback of Notre Dame" as early as 2011 if they wanna do a 15th Anniversary Edition.

I hope they do like an anthology thing with both "The Rescuers" and "The Rescuers Down Under". If not hopefully they'll release both of them on DVD at the same time.

Well, hell, it's Disney. They could release it tomorrow and call it a 15th anniversary edition... they have a strange sense of time there, as is evidenced by past releases.

That's because I prefer DBDs and Blu-roys.

But then what will we complain about? It's not as garishly bright as it should have been? There's too much detail that should've been lost and turned into a simple flat surface of colour? :P

Isn't it fun hijacking a thread with (potentially) good news about Disney DVDs? :P

That's because I prefer DBDs and Blu-roys.
I prefer BVDs, myself. They give me good support without being too constricting, though the color selection is limited.

I was going to refer to DVDs as AAAs, but even I thought that was confusing. And I'm already working on upgrading my old desk drive to a Bly-roo desk drove.

You should really get on that. We can have sashes and hats. I am in need of some ego stroking. Also, batteries.

Agreed.

Also, "The Rescuers" is racist.

Oh, right . . . we can't be happy about anything unless there's something to complain about. :D
