I was wondering what documentaries are out there that chronicle studio film history. These are the ones I can think of:
MGM: When the Lion Roars
20th Century Fox: The First 50 Years
20th Century Fox: The Blockbuster Years
Hollywood, the Golden Years: The RKO Story
Here's Looking at You, Warner Bros.: The History of Warner Bros. Studio
Are there any more documetnaries about film studios? What about a documentary for Paramount Pictures, Columbia Pictures, Universal, or...dare I say it....Walt Disney Studios (not Walt Disney himself)?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Here's one, while it may not cover the ENTIRE studio, it probably has some good general information:
Musicals Great Musicals: The Arthur Freed Unit at MGM (on Singin' in the Rain)
Also, for Disney, there's Frank and Ollie, and then Walt: the Man Behind the Myth (which would probably have a wealth of information about the studio that bears his name, as well as the person himself.)
Pixar has one on the Wall*E 2-disc Blu-ray or 3-Disc DVD.
Here are a few more, that may focus more on one person, or a specific part of a studio:
Chuck Jones: Extremes and In-Betweens, a Life in Animation (2000)
Fantasy Worlds of Irwin Allen, The (1995)
Flesh and Blood: The Hammer Heritage of Horror (1994)
Rodgers & Hammerstein: The Sound of Movies (1996)
Look, Up in the Sky: The Amazing Story of Superman (2006)
Stan Lee's Mutants, Monsters & Marvels (2002)

This appears to be a new release (it goes right up to date with Harry Potter et al) and is a double disc release.

is this new, or an addition to the "Here's Looking at You, Warner Bros." from the Warner Legends Boxset?

It's new, it was a five-part series on PBS last November. I was only able to watch the first two parts, which are pretty good.netty wrote:is this new, or an addition to the "Here's Looking at You, Warner Bros." from the Warner Legends Boxset?
Anyway, regarding studio documentaries, I was watching Gumby Dharma a few weeks ago, which is all about Gumby (and Art Clokey). Also, there is Universal Horror, which is about Universal's early years and the monster films they did.
