Do the DVDs have Subtitles/Captions?

I really hope more episodes are released for iTunes (cause I don't haul my portable dvd player everywhere). And I'll buy these DVD sets, too, eventually........hopefully by Saturday.

Yes, they come with subtitles and different language tracks in French and Spanish.

So if you ever want to have a foreign experience, you can set the language track to French, then just put English subtitles.

Btw, it also sucks that there were no bonus features. It would be nice to get some interviews or audio commentaries for future Volumes. Perhaps some with Stan Lee? He's always a riot and so enthusiastic. Also Chris Claremont would be great, though too bad they didn't have it for these volumes which feature Days of Future Past, but they can do it for the next one hopefully that will have The Dark Phoenix Saga!

I guess I'll definitely pick these up. Glad to know they have subtitles! And I have never seen certain episodes of this series.

Hopefully I'll be able to get to the bank soon so I can get the $ to pay for them + a DS Game I want.

I'd totally have bought these today, except our town sucks and we don't get things until a good....month? AFTER it's come out.

But yeah, the second I see them they're mine even if I have to tackle a little old lady to get to them

That was me! Take Jean on the second cover for example, her facial structure doesn't look like that on the show, she looks more like a character from a '90s Disney movie here. Or Magneto on the first cover, he looks like that Giovanni guy from Pokémon, but with a helmet. And the Beast is basically taken from this multiple-cover.... I could go on and on with nitpicking, but I won't

One is already on a Long Wait. I have a Netflix membership and even though I plan to buy these, they were on my list.

On the other hand, the series 'Mysterious Cities of Gold' has been out on DVD for three weeks and they are "unavailable" according to Netflix!

edit: CORRECTION! All 4 Discs (Volume 1 Disc 1 and 2 and Volume 2 Disc 1 and 2) are on SHORT WAIT. That may change to Long or VERY LONG wait anytime, though.

According to TVShowsonDVD.com, there was an image put on at artist David Nakayama's website labeled as X-MEN: THE ANIMATED SERIES DVD BOX ART--VOL. 3. Pencils and Inks.

The image has since been removed, but they managed to snag it before it was taken down.

I hope the next volume comes out by Christmas.......that would be nice.

I bought the sets earlier today when I went to Best Buy to buy a new DS game for my plane trip to Disney. I'll be watching them very soon. It'll be nice watching the eps I've never seen (except on youtube). And I'll be able to watch them on a screen bigger than my iPod, which has a bunch of iTunes purchased episodes on it.

I'll probably skip the first 10 and watch the eps after Come the Apocalypse.

I managed to find one of each with slipcovers at Best Buy, all the other volumes I saw at Target, Walmart, Best Buy, Vintage Stock, etc., were all missing the slipcovers. I don't know if the covers were limited, or not. From what I've seen, sales have been pretty brisk.

What episodes are on which set? If anyone has the time to type it up. Anyways, I still haven't found the dvds and probably won't until the end of May considering it took me a month to get Ghostbusters and that came out at the end of March? Way to suck C.R stores.
