^topic. I'm just looking for a way in which I can watch downloaded(copy protected) videos on my PS3 and PSP, in high quality and multi-channel sound, if that's possible.
This is primarily for short videos and movie trailers that I might not see anywhere else. TV show episodes, as well.
And I want to test that Digital Copy thing on my PSP.
Any good converting softwares?

There are different programs for what you want.
DVDFab Platinum is the best one for converting DVD (Or Blu-Ray if you have a BD drive!) to any format...I use it to make Zune mp4s, which incidentally are the same as iPod mp4s. But you can also specify PSP. And select the size, speed, bitrate, etc. It's fully customizable and makes great outputs.
Now, for Digital Copies, you'd need a decrypter. I'll tell you this much: The one for iTunes is called Requiem. I can PM a link to anyone, but I won't put one here for obvious reasons.

Oh.
I see your dilemma. I'll look for one specifically for mpeg-4 when I get home. Stay away from any "Video to PSP" or "all in one conversion" programs though - they use subpar conversion methods!
But just a little hint, stick "&fmt=18" to the end of YouTube URLs and it makes them iPod-compatible mp4 which IIRC works in the PSP as well
(And if you need help leeching them, I suggest the DownloadHelper plugin for Firefox)

I managed to find a good converting software(Daniusoft) and it does it's job at breaking DRM. My one complaint is that it doesn't de-compress files for PS3, so those don't look quite as good as the Playstation Store downloads, but a decent job, nonetheless.
It's also got an automatic update service, so here's hoping I see improvements in the near future.
Edit: I just looked, and it said that the DRM files are recorded when playing, claiming it's legal. Is that true?

Doing that is legal, yes.
But does it work for you? TuneByte does something similar and that has never worked for me - it sucks up too much CPU in the process.
Though really, just plain old decrypting DRM'ed files is legal too - as long as they aren't rentals. If they're stuff like Digital Copy or videos you purchased from iTunes or elsewhere, removing the DRM is perfectly fine. (Just often frowned upon by the studios)
