Any of you pulling any pranks today?
Not really attempting to pull a deliberate prank, but I've had a little fun at the expense of my "Voice Actors in the News" blog:

Have another prank planned for the wife when she gets home from work this evening. But I don't want to say what it is just yet in case it turns out to be a bust.
Anyone else?
April Fools Festivities
I am posting a sign at the office breakroom that reads....
"You're invited to the office Christmas Party December 19th @ McDonald's Playland. Please see me, Bryan (a co-worker of mine) for more info. Cost: $15"
Bryan told me he planned to play a joke on one of our QA people, so I figured he would be able to take a joke
I really wanted to put out of order signs on all the microwaves, fridges, coffee makers, soda/candy machines. But I was afraid that would go TOO far

Of course. Most American's drink coffee!Julian Carter wrote:TVM just reported that Air Force One has landed at Malta International Airport. They said Obama's wife came over for a chat and a cup of tea. I realised it was a joke immediately!![]()
OK, I admit. I made up the chat and a cup of tea part.
Most of my Blu-ray collection some of my UK discs aren't on their database

I masterminded a pratical joke today.
After lunch, we decided to hide into our math teacher's closet, so that when she came in, she'd think we were gone. I stayed outside at my desk, I was going to tell my teacher that everybody had gone to the bathroom, and when she left, we were going to empty the closet and send everyone back to their seats.
However, it backfired terribly... My teacher, before she entered the classroom, noticed that it was empty. She went to the classroom beside ours and called for the assistant principal, none of the students, not even I, knowing. So, probably, five minutes later, I see my teacher, a few other teachers, and my assistant principal peeking through the door, all smiling and laughing. Before I know it, the assistant principal is bounding for the door and opens it saying,
"Everybody get out now! There's gonna be a lotta suspensions today! Now who wants to call home first?"
I knew it was a practical joke since I had seen the other teachers, but my principal acted so well, I began to believe her. I was beginning to think I'd get a detention or a suspension and lose my position in the Student Council, since I played to fess up and admit myself as the mastermind. When she said,
"April Fools!"
I can tell you, everyone in that classroom was relieved. In fact, before the big reveal, some were crying.
In the end, it was a very harmless prank. But one I'll never forget.

You're right! I'll have to direct them to this site, now!xxhplinkxx wrote:Wow, UmbrellaFish, you have a class full of gay people now. That's awesome.
Seriously though, it was really funny. You kinda had to be there.
On another note, I love the internet at April Fools. On this one Julie Andrews forum I go on, they've changed the frontpage banner and background with bright pink, and we've always been spoiled with really nice layouts there. Best of all, though, all the posts and threads, new and old, that contain the name "Julie" have been switched to "Wonder Woman". And instead of can't it's ""channnt".
Animated-News used to do really good jokes, but now they only do them with Animated-Views... Not very funny... I remember one year when they announced that they were joining with AOL! Now that was good!

Animated News was created by a former staff member of http://toonzone.net/ which does annual and sometimes elaborate April Fools Day pranks. (This year it was relegated to the forums.)UmbrellaFish wrote:Animated-News used to do really good jokes, but now they only do them with Animated-Views... Not very funny... The guy basically joined Toon Zone with covert intentions of using their networking and industry contacts in order to start his own site later. It was both petty and pathetic.
Thus, I have no respect for the site and do not even acknowledge that it exists.
