Oh Yeah and hopefully I will still have a job when they come out so I can buy them. Getting pretty ugly out there.

I hope Disney dosen't screw up Pete's and Bedknobs re-releases (if they do get the re-release). I'd like to see a a featurette or short doc on the lighthouse they made especially for the film.

Obviously there is no new info, otherwise it would've been posted here, but there is no mention of this on UD...if the old DVD is OOP, it's not mentioned on the Live Action Movies (Pre-1980) list...but you can't buy it new from Amazon; it's also not listed in the Upcoming Disney Movies list. I am having a hard time finding any mention of a new release...I'm looking on Google, and nothing! I'm just nervous, since I sold my copy (I guess my reasoning was, I wanted to sell it before people knew that a new edition was coming, so I'd make the most money I could- I think I made $15 or so on it)...I hope they don't flake out on releasing this!

Is that from Canada? I wonder why it wasn't in the booklet in Bolt for the US.

It sure is, as you can tell from the French and the rating logo.

lol. Yeah. It is from Canada, and it is odd that it was not in the US Bolt release.

I was wondering why no one else had posted that yet. Oh well, If Canada is getting it, the states might as well plan for it.

Maybe the US isn't getting it. (Which I hope isn't the case.)

Same here.

Even so, if for some reason Canada was getting it and the US wasn't, the DVD would still be just a click away via Amazon.ca :P

I think the US will get it. Canada doesn't get much of a difference in DVD's beyond the inclusion of a french title, and even that's become less.

I think it will too. I'm just saying that in the strangely-unlikely chance that the US doesn't get it, it's easy to order it from Canada anyway.

I'm pretty sure Elliott is NOT a girl. Is that dragon supposed to be Elliott's mom, or is he experimenting in dragon-cross-dressing?

Yeah, but in the case of an insert, it's not unlike the fact that blu-rays get different ads. They probably think the film's more popular in Canada than the US, and has gained the respect of getting a proper ad. It's not unlike Disney to do that.

There is no reason why we would get it and the US wouldnt. It would make sense the other way around. They would make more profit releasing it for you guys and not for us.

But I am 100% sure, that if it does get released, it will be for both Canada and the states.

Well, good to see it's happening relatively soon... I'm not expecting a two-disc, but if you keep your expectations low, you're much more likely to have them met.

Some bonus features were confirmed awhile back and they included a 25 min featurette on the special effects. Considering the films running time of 129 min, If it's going to be one disc, it might be pretty packed.
