Original Beauty and the Beast on DVD

Post by MattDean »

Evening everyone!

I hope I don't cause any trouble asking the following

I'm really hoping that when this film makes its next appearance on Platinum it does so in its original theatrical version, in addition to to the tweaked one.

I have the original release on a double Laser but cannot copy it to dvd. Any chance any of you guys could send me a (torrent maybe?) file of it so I could make a dvd copy for my own use now?

I know it's a bit cheeky but my LD player's broken and I really miss the original ratio, colours, animation, etc!

Please help if you can :)

For some reason the message I left earlier (above) was moved - I don't know why!?

Anyway, can ANYONE help in any way?

Please let me know.

Still, if not will have to twiddle my thumbs and wait for the (hopefully) comprehensive Patinum Blu-ray!

I can help...

Is an AVI file OK? I have an AVI of the original laserdisc (though due to my friend's recording hardware, it looks a bit brighter IMO).

I also have two DVD+Rs of it, that's a second recording using premium quality A/V cables. If you know how to burn ISO images I can upload them... They just aren't combined so it's literally like flipping your laserdiscs over because each side has its own title on the DVDs.

If it ain't OTV, it ain't worth anything!
