Oh my dear God!
People, stop with the harrassment! If someone wants to discuss the flaws in an audio track, it doesn't mean that they are nitpicky, it just means they care enough about the classics to want them to be treated with respect, and be untampered.
Also, one might expect a company like Disney to be extra careful about synching and the overall presentation of their films. It has been known to happen that a film is recalled if it is not properly presented.
All this being said, I dont even own the SB platinum (yet). But I do have the Pocahontas 10th Anniv dvd, which does have the audio messed up (which was acknowledged in several reviews), and it bothers the hell out of me. Actually, I have other films where some of the dubs are not timed properly as well...
I fully support the validity of this discussion. :)

I always thought there was something wrong with Pocahontas. Anyway, perhaps Marky should stick with the "original soundtrack"Marce82 wrote:Oh my dear God!

Sleeping Beauty Platinum AUDIO
Also, some instruments are actually missing, accidentally deleted, from the soundtrack.
But that is only the re-mixed soundtrack. Not the original, usually mono versions, they usually have available.
As long as Disney releases all the instruments (and lines) synched up the right way at the right times, the original way, in some form on the DVD, then it's fine. That's why Pinocchio's Platinum must be fixed, because some lines that were originally there are not the recent release anywhere in any form.
If you can't get the original sountracks that the U.S. DVD's usually have, then you will have to import them, which is not fair, but at least the original soundtracks are avilable somewhere. Sleeping Beauty's U.S. DVD and Blu-ray has the original soundtrack.
