I went with Bobby for his birthday last month, and I'll be going on my birthday in March (Mar. 26). We have annual passes, so he chose and I will choose the gift card option- it's worth the price of a one-day ticket, so it's $75 or so.PrincePhillipFan wrote:So, is anyone else heading out to any parks for their birthday? I'll be out at Disney World in March for mine.

Hi everybody!
Oh that´s great news, because I will travelling around California from March 4th till March 19th together with a friend, and as it turns out my birthday is on March 9th
My plan was to go to Disneyland anyway on my birthday, so thanks for that gift Disney
So I checked the Disneyland website, and now I´m a little bit confused what to do.
I wanted to visit the Park for two days anyway, because it´s my first visit ever, and one day is for sure not enough
If I want to go to Disneyland for two days I have to choose the 8th and the 9th, because "unfortunately" my birthday falls on a monday, and there is no Fantasmic, no Aladdin - The Musical, and the park is only open from 9am to 9pm. The same with the Tuesday.
But on sunday (the 8th) there will be all those shows, and the park is open till midnight, and there is the special extra morning hour, too.
So we can just celebrate into my birthday, which is a nice idea too
But here´s the problem:
My friend has to buy the two day hopper ticket (143 Dollar) because it´s cheaper than buying two one day tickets instead (93 each day).
But now they have the offer to get a 3 day hopper ticket with extra morning hour for 149 Dollar, which is a really good thing.
So he has to get this one for just 6 more dollar, even if we can only use it for two days.
(Maybe we can just make a quick visit for the fireworks on the 10th)
I would buy this one too, but because we have to go there on the 8th, I am not able to use my "birthday gift".
You can upgrade this free ticket, but you only get it on your actual birthday.
I need a ticket earlier, so to make this long story short:
Is it the best way to forget about this free birthday ticket and just buy two of the "3 days special tickets" for 149 Dollar?
What would you do?
Sorry for using the forum as a "service hotline", but the best service is here, everybody knows that
Have a nice day!

If it was up to me personally, I would recommend forgetting about the birthday and just going for the three day ticket. Having been to Disneyland and knowing all the attractions they offer in the Magic Kingdom and some in DCA, there's no way to do everything in one day. I would recommend with going around 2 or 3 days, and that eventually the money will pay off itself. Whenever my gf and I go to Walt Disney World, we like to take our leisure just taking everything in the atmosphere and relaxing to eat, so we're not jumping from attraction to attraction. You'll find that your visit will be a lot of pleasurable if you just go at your own pace, and not hurry around worrying about having to get here to there and see everything in enough time. It will just add stress to your visit (whenver I've gone with my parents it's like this
). It will also leave time for you to re-ride any of your favorite attractions maybe twice or three times before you leave. Plus Disneyland has the benefit of having a lot of hidden gems throughout the park you can explore, like Snow White's Grotto and the Sleeping Beauty Castle walk-thru that I both highly recommend you check out.
Hope these tips help.

Do you know if there are "late evening"-Tickets in Disneyland with a discounted price lets say after 6pm for example?
Or do you have to pay the full ticket price all day around?
I tried finding some infos about this, but without success...
Thanks again

I'm not sure if there are any discounts after entering the park late or if it's the same. My guess would be the same price, but I would recommend going to Disneyland's website and finding the phone number for tickets and reservations servies and asking someone about it.
