Shes goodlooking, though she does look kinda like Tiffany Thorton(Tawni, Sonny With A Chance) though.
Walt Disney always belived in quality, bring the quality back.

All this time I've been reading the Sweatbox as the Sweetbox.

Well, with all the touting of the feature, it's bound to be a real treat.

I hope they include a separate look at Jiminy Cricket, like how they included a separate look at Tinker Bell on the Peter Pan DVD.

I'm planning to buy the Blu Ray on March 10th. Do the stores usually have it at the regular price, or is it possible it might be on sale? I have $20 worth of Target gift cards to use towards it.

Unless Best Buy gives a cute Figaro or Jiminy Cricket plush, that's my plan (Target).
Disney Channel died when they stopped airing movies with Haley mills (Parent Trap and Pollyanna) and fun adventure movies like Swiss Family Robinson. R.I.P. the REAL Disney Channel. Date of Death: When the shows became teenie bopperish.

When Sleeping Beauty came out, it was only $15 at Wal-Mart and I think $16 at Target the first week. (For the DVD, of course)
The Blu-Ray was like $25 if I remember correctly.

I'm not sure if I'll get it right away or not. If I get a chance to hit Target the weekend after it comes out and the price is low enough I might buy it. Otherwise I'll just get it from the library and see <strike>how badly they messed up the colors</strike> how the restoration looks before buying it.

Howard Ashman:

Arabian Nights (Unedited)
Savages (Uncensored)
If it ain't OTV, it ain't worth anything!

I'll probably get this right away at walmart.

Oh, and the frequently striking things you actually meant to say is getting old.

So, we didn't get the Jiminy Cricket shorts on this, right?

How do these new Blu-Ray platinums stack up compared to the best of the standard platinums, liks Snow White? Any opinions? I have the Sleeping Beauty Blu-Ray, but I haven't bothered with the bonuses because it is very hard to read the menus on standard def.

I'm actually looking forward to the new music video for a change, as I've seen snippets of it on the Disney Channel and I adore Meaghan Jette Martin. Possibly the most gorgeous girl I've seen yet. Up their with the most at the very least.

 Hey! I've only done it a few times!
But seriously, I didn't realize members here weren't allowed to have a sense of humor. I apologize for that.

I didn't watch the extras for Sleeping Beauty either but somehow I don't think the list was quite as long as some of the good ones like Aladdin.

And the Blu-Ray exclusive content is stupid... BD-Live is a cool idea, but I really don't want to pick from a list of pre-typed sentences so I can tell random people "Wow, isn't the prince cute?" every 5 seconds. If they let me plug in a keyboard and actually CHAT, that would be one thing. But they're Disney, they aren't gonna allow something that could potentially not be kid-friendly. (Nintendo did the same thing with Mario Kart Wii, it's frickin annoying)

The bonuses should stack up well. If you have sleeping beauty without HD, I'd just point and click if i were you. That's how I got through the first month with our HD DVD player(which is now used as a speaker stand).

I'd also suggest that when you do get HD, you should get an HDMI cable. That's the best.

Nice review. I'm glad that Disney has completely restored its original glory for its "Pinocchio" Platinum Edition release, but I can wait to get this movie when it comes out a week from Tuesday. I got 9 more days left when I get it or I will have to wait in two weeks to get "Pinocchio" as one of my all-time Disney film since I first saw it in a theater back in 1978. As I said many times that "Pinocchio" was the first Disney film I ever saw since I was a baby.

Today I went to BLOKKER(I think you can compare this shop a bit to Wall-mart) and to my surprise there were several copies of the new Pinocchio platinum edition!
If I hadn't pre-orderded the PE through amazon.co.uk I would have bought one of course. I'm still waiting for my copy. :(

But maybe this is a good tip-off for other UD-members living in The Netherlands! :D
