Island At The Top Of The World aspect ratio

The pre-1980 live action pages show the Anchor Bay Island At The Top Of The World as being full frame only. My DVD has both full screen and widescreen on the same disc. Could be another example of two different AB releases of a Disney title: first with widescreen and fullscreen, then dropping to full screen only in a later release.

Their were to editions made.

One with Fullscreen and Widescreen

and one with just fullscreen.

I really REALLY hope that the new Disney release is in widescreen with 16X9 enhancement. I love this movie so so much!
