I just got a message on my phone from an hour and a half ago from my boss...Asking if I could come in.
I have to study, and my dad is in a bad mood, so I don't really wanna ask him for a ride, because he needs to rest.
Should I call them back or just assume they got someone else?
Should I feel bad?
Should I feel bad?
Man has a dream
And that's the start
He follows his dream
With mind and heart
And when it becomes a reality
It's a dream come true
For you and me!

Call back your boss and tell him/her that you just got his/her message and apologize for you late answer, but just explain to him/her that you can't make it in for work, because you have school work that you need to do.
Never assume anything with bosses. Always call back, you don't ever want to risk getting fired.

I completely agree with Chris. I know that managers are flexible with their employees who are in school; I worked at a grocery store in high school, and when I had my interview (or when I got hired, I can't remember), the manager even told me that school always comes first, so if I ever would need time off from work to focus on school, that wouldn't be a problem. I'm sure your boss will understand!
Don't not call back, though- show that you care!
