Most boring moment in a Disney film
Any moment like this in Pirates of the Caribbean after the first time:
"I have the coin"
"Give me the coin"
"I don't have it after all. I tricked you. Aren't I fantastically clever?"
Talk about a senseless runaround. Didn't Barbossa learn anything in that movie?
I hope the sequel(s) has nothing to with stupid cursed coins!

Most of my Blu-ray collection some of my UK discs aren't on their database
If that monkey clip at the end of the credits is any indication, they will.2099net wrote:I hope the sequel(s) has nothing to with stupid cursed coins!
Personally, I agree with you. They've already dealt with the coins, so why not move on to another subject matter? To me, that's like having all 3 Indy movies deal with the Lost Ark. They could devise yet another super-natural object that would have different powers for each of the next two films.
By far the most boring scene in any Disney animated film is "The Rite of Spring" in Fantasia. I can't stand that segment and have only viewed it once or twice (and not even at one sitting. The few times I've left it on during Fantasia I've usually gone into the kitchen to grab a snack or something.) There are other bits in Fantasia that are also a bit hard to sit through, though not as dramatically (to me) as Rite of Spring.

Tangela
You actually sit through Fantasia? I just put it up and play in the computer or take a nap while it's on, except for the segment of "Ave María", I like that one.Disneykid wrote:By far the most boring scene in any Disney animated film is "The Rite of Spring" in Fantasia. I like most of Fantasia's segments, but I almost never watched the abstract "tone poems" at the beginning, nor Ave Maria at the end. I watched it from The Nutcracker Suite through Night on Bald Mountain, then turned it off.
I never liked the first part of The Rite of Spring - the Big Bang through the volcanoes. Bleah... kill me now! The Sorcerer's Apprentice never appealed much to me, either. >_<
And I'm sorry, Tangela, but The Rescuers IS pretty dang boring. I tried watching my old vhs of it the other day, and didn't even get halfway through.

Life often leaves us standing bare, naked and dejected with a lost opportunity. Over the bleached bones and jumbled residues of numerous civilizations are written the pathetic words: "Too late."

Re: Fantasia
I absolutely love Fantasia, and its one of my favs, but I can understand people being somewhat bored by the "Rite of Spring" sequence.Escapay wrote:Am I the only one that can sit through all of Fantasia and enjoy it?
