What age did you first watch Jurassic Park?

I remember when Jurassic Park came out...my parents went to see it to see if they would approve of it but my mom said no you can't see it but we got you this book about it (it was a movie summary book of JP1)

Anyway.....then my dad secretly took me to go see it...we dropped my 5 year old sister off at friends house and we went to see it....I had nightmare but I lived..

then from that moment on...my parents had come up with a theory....they would rather watch a movie with me or take me a movie that might not be something I should see.....rather than me sneaking out to see it......I Mean I wasn't watching Rated R movies... but me and my dad woudl always see Jurassic Park and I remember the sequel actually doing quite well in the box office....the the theater was packed so I had to sit by myself...when I was 8 when I saw the second one at least I think...

and I Saw the first one with my dad I was in the 1st or 2nd grade so I was like 5 or 6 then....

I do prefer Jurassic Park 2 over the third one though...because basicly its a rescue mission....though the effects were cool.....

I thought I heard about a Jurassic Park 4 which it's plot was going to pretend like 3 never happened......but I have not heard of it for a long time or at least any new news as to its realese if it happens or not

I think from the way I have come to understand it...We're Back: A Dinosaur's Story.......was a we are sorry we made Jurrassic Park sound like a family film.....when it in reality was not meant for that....though it's the only movie I can recall me and my dad seeing it by ourselves with no one else in the theater watching it.....ashame too since it was a great movie.....

I'm ashamed to say I used to watch that thing.

GASP! How can yo say that!? Oh right you just did. That's fine, I only just watched it again myself last year to hear the Rifftrax on it by Mike Nelson and Weird Al. When did I first see it? I can't remember, it's not all that important to me anyway.

I don't remember exactly when I first saw it but I know that I was young. My dad really didn't care what movies we watched. Whatever he watched we (my sisters and I) watched. I actually haven't seen it in awhile. Hopefully it'll be on TV soon.

And remember: Television will only be broadcasting in digital on February 17th! :D

Haha, I hate those commercials...

Out of curiosity, anyone here read the book? I did before the movie first came out and really enjoyed it. It's a bit more gory than the movie; what happened to Nedry still freaks me out.

I've read the book several times, most recently two years ago waiting for my name to be called for jury duty. I thought it would last me the time it took for them to decide whether or not they wanted me in the jury, but then I forgot it takes forever and I'm a speed reader.

Saw it in theaters. Guess I was 17 or so. Great film. The second one was weak, which was disappointing because I like Jeff Goldblum. The third was great.

For the record, I won that bonus disc on eBay, if anyone should want a rip/ISO of it.

And woot, $0.99 top price! Shame the shipping costs more than the disc itself

That got voted down, and its back to Feb 17th. Although from what I've heard they are still trying to delay it. Its going back for another vote soon (next Tuesday I think).

Remember this is only for over the air signals. Cable and satellite service is fine.

I'm using over the air right now, and so far the digital signals are a lot better than the old analog ones in my area.

My memory's a bit fuzzy, but IIRC, I was in third grade when my sister got the VHS tape of JP as a Christmas gift, so I guess that means I was eight years old when I first saw the movie.

Mom thought JP was too violent and scary for my sister and I, and wasn't pleased that my sister got the tape as a gift.
