I'm not really into the live-action films. To be honest, I've never *gulp* tried to watch them. Never seen Treasure Island or 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea or any of the classics live-actions.

I've seen some of the modern ones - the National Treasures, PotCs, but not the classics.

My Disney love and Disney DVD obsession are the Disney Animated Classics, their derivatives, and the Disney Animated Hybrid Features. My goal is to collect everyone and watch the DACs/their derivatives in continuity order. I'm about a fourth of the way through watching them. I own the following of those on DVD:

Neal, you should join something like NetFlix where you don't have to pay for individual rentals, and then check out some of the following classic Disney live-action:

• Darbie O'Gill and the Little People
• Flight of the Navigator

In my opinion, there are certainly titles on that list that would be much better than some of the sequels to the DAC that you have, although I don't mean to disparage the fact that you enjoy the sequels.

Well, I don't plan never to check out the live-action, just don't have the time until I finish all the DACs/derivatives.

Pete's Dragon (this needs a DECENT release, preferably on Blu-Ray with a surviving cast interview and audio commentary, maybe with Jim Dale)

Treasure Island (the dvd I rented from Netflix a few months ago had problems, and I would never be able to rent it from Blockbuster online (since its on a VERY LONG WAIT status, I bought it instead)

Little Mermaid: Ariel's Beginning (since it returns to the vault Jan 31)

Well, I went to go post an update on my collection, but something VERY fishy has happened. I have NO idea what happened to a good majority of my collection of Disney DVDs! My DVD collection is constantly growing, so I keep the Disney DVDs to the back where I have space (so I can add and fill in the empty spots). A very large majority of it is gone! I emptied out all of my DVD shelves and about 1/4 of my Disney DVDs are just gone! I'm still cleaning out, but I'm still upset that I couldn't post an update this morning
