Digital Copys..can they transfer to PSP?
Hey guys I was just wondering to all you tech savvy people. Can I transfer my digital copy movies to my PSP? I know you can put it on your iphone, pod, etc, but I dont know if there is a way to transfer it to the PSP (PlayStation Portable). If there is please explain how to do it it, becuase I own a lot of DVDs with the new Digital Copy feature.

You certainly can on Sony digital copies. I'm looking at the UK Pineapple Express Digital Copy now, and it has instructions on how to put it on a PSP. I'm not sure if you can with iTunes and Windows Media DRM copies.
Most of my Blu-ray collection some of my UK discs aren't on their database

I want like my Wall*E to get transfered to my PSP. That way I can travel with it, and also hook up the PSP to a TV to see it on a bigger TV. I wish Ipod had the connect to TV feature. It is kind of annoying to watch a movie a screen like that. Yes The PSP screen is a liitle bigger, but can also be hooked up to a TV. So anyone know if I can transfer my copys that are not Sony DVDs.

Hey Mickey Mouse I am not sure but I think you can connect your Ipod to a tv just like the PSP I just did a search on Amazon and found quite a few results: <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/redirect.html? ... 12&y=17</a>
Again I have not tried this but I would assume these cables work the same as the ones with the PSP.
Anyone else know for sure?

Right, the best advice I can give is to encode it yourself.
If you already OWN the Digital Copy disc, PM me and I can tell you how to remove the DRM from the iTunes version so it'll be playable on a DVD.
Otherwise, I can give you a nice program that'll convert your DVDs (and it can be ANY disc, even ones without "digital copy") to multiple formats - including PSP mp4.

Yeah. this is really the easiest solution... and also why it doesn't make sense to actually pay for digital copies. It's very easy to rip and convert most DVDs for a portable device... in the case of WALL-E, though, it has some structural protections that most software can't handle. Only 2 apps I know of can handle the disc.Mollyzkoubou wrote:After all a DVD *is* a "digital copy" - and tools that can convert video_ts to mp4 aren't uncommon.
