I absolutely adore archive.org! Often pictures won't work, but there are so many great websites that don't exist anymore that you can still visit through archive.org.
animated-movies.net is probably my favorite website to visit through archive.org. I used to spend hours every night on that website- it's just a wealth of information, and the production process, and changes that have been made during the production process, has always fascinated me, so it's great to have that information readily available.
Just a word of advice on archive.org: Sometimes you'll click on a link on archive.org (like the date you click on to go to the site), and it won't work. Just keep on clicking different dates until you find one that works. I know with animated-movies.net through archive.org, sometimes you have to act fast, clicking on something on the pulldown menu, because otherwise it transfers you to the current page.
