The 2008 Christmas Present Thread

Post by blackcauldron85 »

Bobby & I exchanged presents yesterday, so I figured that I'd start this thread!

*plushes of Bolt, Mittens, & Rhino
* lots of Christmas stuffed animals
* The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian DVD (only the 1-disc version...I bought it for him for me at the grocery store for only $8.99...)
* "Walt Disney Animation Studios - The Archive Series: Story" book
* HSM3 Corbin Bleu pen that sings "The Boys are Back"
* 2 pairs of socks
* Reese's peanut butter cups
* a The Three Caballeros shirt (which I had picked out at WDW a while back)
* a 4-pack of body spray (which I had also already picked out myself)

And then from my Secret Santa, Jim (Gurgi30!), I got:
* Corbin Bleu notebook
* Camp Rock DVD
* 7 dwarfs pin

The Best Buy gift cards are probably going to go towards a new printer for myself (or at least partially. There are some BDs I want, too). I'll use the AMC card this weekend when going to see Bedtime Stories with some friends. The Barnes & Noble card will probably go towards the Inkheart sequels (Inkspell and Inkdeath) since I'm loving the first book so much.

All in all, it was a pretty dang good Christmas. :D

After Christmas I might post a picture of all my gifts.

I bought myself an Xbox 360 as an "early" present... but that's only because I saved up money over the summer and wanted an Xbox. So I'm just guessing I'll get some Xbox stuff for Christmas... LOL

Absolutely Nothing... and it's my birthday on Wednesday too. Well, Merry Christmas and a Happy Birthday to me I guess. :)

Amy, I would love to find A Three Caballeros shirt. I'll have to be on the lookout for one next time I go there. Do they sell them at Mexico because of the ride or are they somewhere else?

I can edit this to read that I have now received two presents (with a third on the way); thank you Kelvin!

Pollyanna Vault Disney DVD
The Wonderful World of Disney: Yellowstone Cubs DVD

I also found out that I'm getting the Hellboy Library Volume 2 from my step-dad for Christmas. So far, so good.

Yup, it's from the Mexico ride at Epcot. For adults, the only shirt I saw was the one I got- it's made of a canvas-type traditional Mexican fabric, which wouldn't be my ideal choice of fabric, but I wanted the shirt, because it's a Three Caballeros shirt (rare!), and it was on clearance for $13. For kids, they have a t-shirt and a sweatshirt (both in regular cotton fabric)- I would've gotten the sweatshirt, because I can usually fit in a kids' XL, but it was too small...

If you want me to, I can check the next time I go to Epcot to see if they have any more left.

Because you've talked about "Zacypoo" before... :roll: :lol: I'm torn- I'm thrilled that you (at one point) loved Corbin more, but I'm saddened that you now prefer Zac... :roll: But, you've somewhat redeemed yourself, since a) you own Corbin's CD, and b) you're looking for it. <3

Oh, and his new CD, "Speed of Light", comes out March 10th!!!

Oh my best friend got that for me too, but he just gave it to me as like a random surprise kinda gift. It's kind of a disturbing comic book lol.

Anyways, I have no idea what to expect, I'm pretty sure my Grandma bought me a new PS2 since my old one died but It's okay I kind of wanted the new slim one :)

No clue what my Best Friend or his Girlfriend got me but I'll say what I got them. I went to Hollister and picked up two miniature Cologne and Perfume gift sets(one for men the other for woman) and each box comes with 3 different colognes/perfumes. My thought was..."Well if I had a significant other I'd like them to have a matching perfume!" So now they can smell like each other in a Hollister kind of way :)

As for everyone else...*sigh* they all get different gift cards from stores they go to, my whole family is really hard to buy presents for.

Don't worry, I still enjoy Corbin as well! :lol: I don't like how he looks with facial hair though. Oh a new CD! cool!

I exchanged presents with my boyfriend Christmas eve morning and I got ummm.... quite a few Disney dolls (I collect them).... random My Little Pony (collect them too...) ..... Always Sunny in Philly seasons 1 & 2 (I know 3 is coming from my dad! :lol:)..... shoot! what else!?! Oh a cool yellow shirt!

Everyone in my family opens one gift on Christmas eve also.... and mine was a bluetooth thingy. I can use that when I'm driving.

From my parents I got Wii Fit! This is a bittersweet thing. On one hand I had my heart set on getting Animal Crossing City Folk, especially since I changed it to be my main Christmas present. On the other, I never expected to get Wii Fit, especially since it was sold out everywhere and costs a pretty penny.

This is just from my parents, though. I'll see what else I get throughout the day.
